“If you want to be routinely harassed, this is the dealership for you. I went to have my car serviced to inspect an odd noise and to have my serpentine belt replaced. The "fix" they recommended was quoted at $3,500, noting that my vehicle was in dire condition, which I requested a second opinion for, and they didn't even replace my serpentine belt as I initially requested.
A second opinion noted that one of the plastic flaps was grinding the axle, and that was the noise, and promptly fixed the issue for a fraction of the cost (and actually replaced my serpentine belt). It is note that this happened roughly 2 years ago now, and even with 40k additional miles on the car, it has been operating just as well after the other mechanics fix. Ultimately, they're diagnostics are bad, and they just want to extort you out of every dollar they can.
For the icing on the cake, they WILL NOT STOP CALLING. Again, after 2 years, I swore to not do business with them, but they would call every day. I even directly told them to not contact me again, and that I had no interest in ever doing business with them, but still continue to be harassed by them. Such a disgrace.
Do not do business with these people; you will regret ever having done so.
For anyone who still doesn't see my level of frustration - I didn't even use ChatGPT to craft the review, I just feel this genuinely negative about Russ Darrow Kia.”
