“My college son was experiencing starting issues with his Nissan and responsibly brought it to this dealership’s service center on his own. They performed diagnostics and charged him $600 to determine that the only problem was a failed 12-volt battery. They then charged an additional $200 for the battery and installation totaling roughly $800 to replace a standard 12-volt battery. The experience was so disappointing that we immediately sold all three of our family Nissans and will never return to a Nissan dealership for service. Parents of college students: please be aware of this dealership practice overcharging young drivers without a parent present.”
