“** Buyer Beware. Have the vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic. ** I struggle with this review, simply because it was such a seamless buying experience. I will preface this review further with admitting this is 100% my fault. I made an emotional purchase due to the fact they had the exact 2017 RS7 Performance I was looking for. I did not take the car to have it inspected by an outside shop and that has now come back to bite me. I believed buying from this dealership that they would have gone over the car to be certain it was mechanically sound. I was wrong. After buying the car, I started having issues and hearing sounds the car should not be making. As it turns out, there is several thousand dollars worth of repairs to make on the car for it to even be safe to drive. When I called by salesman, Owen, to discuss these issues with him he mentioned he would call me back after speaking to someone else. To his credit, he did. Unfortunately, it was only to tell me "We sell used cars. There's nothing we can do to help you." So I just purchased a $45,000 vehicle that isn't even safe to drive and this dealership will do absolutely nothing to help. I write this review to warn future buyers... do not purchase a vehicle from here until you have it inspected by a mechanic you are familiar with and trust. Unfortunately, Carolina Luxury Imports of Mooresville will be perfectly happy selling you something you will have to spend a lot of money on to even get back on the road. ** UPDATE ** I would like to update my review in response to CLI's reply. I enquired about the warranty and denied it based on the recommendation of my salesman, Owen. He mentioned that it would not benefit me. I was 100% honest with my review and seeing their reply further solidifies my beliefs that they will paint whatever picture they want to try and sell. Again, as I mentioned in my previous review this is 100% my fault and should have taken the care to get inspected. DO NOT take the word of this dealer that the car is roadworthy.”
