“No idea how these folks have a good rating. They must be paying for reviews. I brought my 2017 Maxima in for appraisal. They did the appraisal while I waited inside. They said the vehicle has shift issues. It doesn’t, no shift issues, no engine lights, just recently serviced. They said the seats were torn. They are not. They said it had a branded title. It doesn’t. They offered me three grand and they would have sold it for fifteen. This car was serviced a month ago and had no issues. See proof of everything below!”

“Recently found interest in this 2021 Jeepwrangler. Had it transferred to the Merrillville location in Indiana. Ended up getting insurance for the car like they asked to me to in order to purchase the car after it was done getting inspected. Came to the dealership November 4th to see my options in financing the jeep. Told them I work up to 79 hours which is on my paycheck and looking to put down originally 1650 but that ended up changing do to not really liking the way it drives alil so I said I will put down 1400. Westlake ended up being a good option for financing so that’s what we went with. Before submitting in my paystub I told them that the paycheck is on the lower side due to taking advances out my check to pay bills which i told them I can show proof of and they were more then welcome to call my office to verify. Submitted all my documents and was approved for the jeep wrangler. 3 days later I got a call from Brent the manager and being told I need to bring the jeep back and put in another finance application and possibly put down $6000 for the car even after getting approved and them taking my down payment I was told westlake declined me and want me to put another application in with more money down. I asked what was the reason for this and they gave me no answer at all. I went to the dealership with the car and they made me return it and was told I can’t refinance with westlake even after bringing in legit documentation to help my case. I paid with card for my down payment and was told I can only receive check through mail because that’s their policy which in fact is not their policy. So I have to wait 2-3weeks for my down payment for a way of transportation not to mention I can’t cancel my insurance they had me purchase. Currently looking to pursue with an attorney if they can not resolve this issue. (Brent and Ryan) are the managers that would give me no explanation to anything after the amount of money and time I spent with this place just to end up with no car. And having to wait for my money back.”

“Me and my husband were desperate for another vehicle , we got really bad credit but Jeff K our sales associate got us in a awesome car. Everything was very upfront no hassle on the vehicle we choose. Most other dealerships wouldn't have gave us a choice on what vehicle we wanted. Definitely amazing work for CarMax but remember always do research on your vehicle you choose, but even with research they still looked up recalls and had the auto check available before we chose something.
