“Very rude shopping for experience. Came in ready to purchase an Idie buzz for Christmas. The salesman took one look at us. (Interracial couple) and completely brushed us off told us “the car should’ve been locked”. “They’re locking it now” as if to say you shouldn’t have been touching it …very rude. We are ready to purchase it tonight hoping to get it for Christmas. We will be going somewhere else tomorrow the older Gray haired gentleman was seated to the left when you walk in. Hopefully his management sees this and speaks to him about his bigotry. SMH”

“I left satisfied. The dealership secured the trim level I wanted from an out of state location and helped me stay within my timeline to achieve the purchase. Minus the blip on adding a vin etch fee as "mandatory" and not having the vehicle fully charged for my hour drive home, I am happy that my daughter likes her new car. Thanks to those who helped me at Harte VW of Meriden. We will consider returning when we are ready for a trade in in a couple of years.”
