“Just want to share my trade in experience with Faulkner Volkswagen in Mechanicsburg. I live in Maryland and dealing with Kostaintyn in selling my car is first class. He truly was professional in our conversation and put my mind at ease. He sent a driver to me which made this process even better. 5 stars all the way! Thanks again Kostaintyn.”

“Overall a great experience here. Luis was great to work with, kept in touch with me when I set up my test drive and while I was at the dealership. Was very professional and up front about everything. Brad was equally as professional and very kind when it came to financing the car and signing the paperwork. Both care about their job and the people and it is very clear when you meet them. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a vehicle!”

“A big thank you to Angie for all you did to help us find our perfect van. Thank you, Brad, for making it so easy to get everything done in a timely manner. Angie had 5 customer this day, but she made a point to talk to each one of us and made all of us feel so comfortable. (at least she did us.) We honestly will not go to anyone else for any of our vehicles but Angie. We know she is truthful, honest and will always go above and beyond for every customer. She is by far the best ever sales associate we ever had delt with. Thank you, Angie, for all you do.”

“I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to ignore. I recently purchased a 2022 Honda Pilot (around 33k miles) from Faulkner VW. I had it transferred to Faulkner Cadillac — where I’ve worked with their team before and actually trust them — just so I could have it inspected. Thank goodness I did, because Cadillac quickly discovered the Pilot needed four new tires and a right axle replacement before it was even road-ready. Not exactly what you expect from a “certified” vehicle at this price point. To make matters worse, the interior was absolutely filthy — sticky cupholders, grime in every crevice, and dog hair everywhere. My son has a serious allergy, and I now have to deep clean a car I just bought because it’s triggering his breathing issues and even making my eyes itch every time I get in. No one should have to deep clean a “ready-to-sell” vehicle, especially at this price point. Oh, and here’s the kicker: the car came in to VW in August with 30k miles… and was sold to me in November with 30k miles. So someone was clearly joyriding it around in the meantime. While I’ll give credit where it’s due — Faulkner Cadillac was professional, transparent, and took care of the repairs — they still had to charge me $2,000 for the work VW should have handled before ever listing it for sale. Bottom line: Faulkner VW’s lack of care and accountability made this one of the most disappointing car purchases I’ve ever made. I’ll be sticking with Faulkner Cadillac from here on out — they’re the only team that actually earned my trust, which is sad bc the GM at Cadillac, used to run VW. This store has gone down hill. Do better”

“Avoid Faulkner Volkswagen at all costs! The service team at Faulkner including their service manager, Ashley, are nothing but a bunch of scam artists. We purchased a certified pre-owned Tiguan from Faulkner Volkswagen in September of 2024. Fast forward to July of this year we notice the rearview mirror is loose and starting to fall off the windshield. No problem, so I thought. We brought the vehicle in to the service department for what I figured would be a simple repair. They had the car for a week with zero communication. I had to call for updates numerous times to see what exactly was going on. Finally, after a week they called and said that they were able to re-attach the mirror and it was good to go. We went to pick the vehicle up and we noticed that the mirror was still loose, so we brought it to the attention of the tech who reassured us that it was all fixed and there was nothing to worry about. We drove the car for 20 minutes that same weekend when all of the sudden the entire rear view mirror fell completely off the windshield and was dangling by the wires. That Monday morning I was immediately on the phone with the service department when I was forwarded to the service manager Ashley. I explained the situation and she informed me that the repair that was performed was an “experimental” fix and that there were no guarantees. This was news to me as this was never explained to us. She then told me that the entire windshield needed to be replaced as the bracket comes attached to the windshield. This seemed crazy to me, but I figured this would certainly be covered under their certified pre-owned warranty. Boy was I wrong. This started an almost month long battle with Ashley and the operations manager who insisted that glass was not covered under this warranty program. I spoke extensively with Volkswagen customer service who agreed that this indeed should be covered because it was a manufacturer defect, however they had to stand by their dealerships decision not to cover the windshield replacement. I spoke again with Ashley and explained exactly what Volkswagen told me and she still refused to cover the windshield replacement. The operations manager even accused my wife of destroying the vehicle because rear view mirrors “don’t just fall off” (exactly our point!!). So after a long battle with Faulkner and their incompetent service manager, we took the vehicle to a real mechanic who was able to simply reattach the mirror to the perfectly fine windshield, completely free of charge! This was such a simple job for them that they didn’t feel the need to charge us a dime! Faulkner Volkswagen and Ashley were trying to rip us off for more than $500 to replace a perfectly good windshield. Avoid this place at all costs, and take your business to a reputable dealership that actually cares about their customers!”
