“I have been going to Herb Chambers Lynnfield since I purchased my Cadillac in 2012. Up until last week I have always experienced wonderful service on both the sales and service side. The first issue I experienced was with making my service appointment. I scheduled online and received the confirmation email and text reminder so I know it was logged, but when I got to the dealership at my scheduled time on Tuesday, they didn’t have any record of my appointment. The service rep was accommodating, and I was able to explain what services my car needed. I needed brakes and oil change and a new tire. I was told a new tire could be ordered so I left my vehicle that day and got a ride home. Wednesday morning I called to get an update on the tire. I left a message and didn’t receive a call back. So after four hours I called again. The rep told me he had to check and called me back three hours later and said the tire should be delivered by 11 AM Thursday. I received a call at 3:30 Thursday afternoon saying the tire was still not on site. I told the rep to forget about the tire. I could bring my car back next week for that but I needed the brakes done and the oil change and needed my car ready for Saturday morning. He agreed that that could be accommodated. I did not hear from anyone so I waited until Friday at 3:15 and called to ask if my car would be ready to pick up Saturday morning. I was put on hold and told he couldn’t find my vehicle so he thought it was out being tested for brakes and he would call me back. Almost an hour later I got a call and the rep said yes, my car did indeed need rear brakes. I was horrified that at 4 PM on Friday my car hadn’t even been looked at when it had been there since Tuesday 8 AM and I specifically told the service rep to forget about the tire and do the brakes and oil change so I can have those done before I needed my car back Saturday. The fact that I had to be the one to call to get regular updates on my car and the fact that my car sat for four days without anything being done to it is unacceptable. And just to a note, today is August 7 -9 days after I first brought my car in and I have still not received a call about the tire so I am questioning if it was even ordered. Unfortunately , either way, I will not be bringing my car back for the tire (if it was even ordered) or any other work in the future, as I have lost trust that I will get the customer service I was used to.”

“Great experience. Got a Cadillac for the first time. Our sales Henri was attentive and tried to answer any questions I had about the vehicles. Would def consider a top choice to shop for my next vehicle once this new lease is up in 3 years.”
