“Worst dealership and car ownership experience I have ever had. Bought my car in 2018 with extended warranty. Tucson started eating oil, Hyundai did not take ownership of the issue even though there have been class actions suits against their company for my exact problem. The extended warranty would not cover the problems. The dealership flat out told me to go somewhere else to get the problem worked out, they were under construction and understaffed and couldn't work on it for lack of time. The dealership lied, dodged, and avoided me until I did just that, sold the car and went somewhere else. Do your research before buying a Hyundai especially through this dealership. I learned a hard lesson.”

While I generally dislike the car-buying process because it can be time-consuming, the team made it as smooth and straightforward as possible. Negotiations were fair, and although we didn’t land exactly where we hoped on price, we were able to get into the vehicle my wife really wanted, which ultimately mattered most.

“Let me begin by saying we purchased our 2019 Hyundai Sonata in Roanoke because of lack of service and trust at the then Lynchburg Hyundai. In the six years we have had our car, we have been most pleased with it and would take it back to Roanoke to be serviced. Recently, our car failed to start, wouldn’t even turn-over. I knew Lynchburg Hyundai had changed ownership and CMA Automotive Group now owns the dealership. I called them and explained what was going on and ask if they had a tow truck to come and get the car. I was told they didn’t, but it was further explained to me that we had Hyundai Roadside Assistance and was promptly given the phone number. I was also told that the service department was backed up and it could take awhile for them to get the car into the shop to be diagnosed and a repair scheduled. I called Roadside Assistance and had a polite, courteous and knowledgeable tow truck driver in my driveway. The next morning a Service Advisor , Jason Mann contacted me to confirm what the issue was with our car. He reiterated they were back logged but would get the car into the garage asap for diagnostics and then we could schedule a repair. Within a few hours Jason called me back with a diagnosis and cost for the repair. The part was in stock and our car was repaired within the same day. This was a complete surprise and unexpected. Jason was in communication with us throughout the entire process. He was very professional and very polite. In fact everyone we came into contact with via telephone or in person at CMA Hyundai of Lynchburg was polite and courteous to us. CMA Hyundai has earned our trust and I would highly recommend them, even if you have had a negative experience under the OLD ownership.”
