“These guys are terrible. I expect to be overcharged at the dealer, I accept that because I want convenience and you’re supposed to trust the dealer. I took my car for a maintenance check and paid over a grand to have them not fully service my car. My windshield wipers are terrible, they clearly didn’t test them, and guys, I literally paid $300 for an alignment, and they didn’t even bother to check my tire pressure! How is that even possible?! I literally had to refill my tires after I paid them over $1000 dollars. NEVER again. I called another mini dealer that is farther away, and they were appalled. I’ll be going to them even though they are farther away, because I no longer trust Universal Mini. I will recommend them to nobody.”

“Our 2023 Mini Cooper S showed a “Vehicle Check / Oil Change due at 36,000 miles” alert. Basic minor stuff. I called Mini Universal to make an appointment, (last time I was there they charged me almost $600 for two rear brake pads). They literally quoted me an absurd $400 before tax — $200 for an oil change and another $200 for the “vehicle inspection,” which is basically plugging the car into a computer and walking around it. The oil change alone is a 20-minute job. To make it worse, I still had one free service left, but because the car was just over 36,000 miles (by about 300 miles) — and nobody from Mini ever called to remind me — they refused to honor it. I called No Limit Auto a few blocks away, and they did the whole thing the next day for $100 total with genuine dealer parts and filter. I waited while they did it and watched them— 24 minutes for the oil change and another 27 minutes exact for the inspection, all to dealer specs, all codes cleared. Bottom line: Mini Universal wanted nearly $450 for what any honest shop does for $100. Even with $200 I would have been ok. It’s not about the money, we can afford it, this is our third “around town car” — it’s about principle. This experience turned me and my wife completely off from the brand. We were planning to trade up to a Countryman soon, but after this, we’ll be going back to another Tesla for our third car instead. Congrats, Mini Universal — you made $0 today and lost two loyal customers for good. Good riddance.”

“I went into this dealership yesterday b/c I am in the market to purchase a new car. I've been doing research for awhile and I decided to simply go to this dealership to look and have a simple conversation. I'm not a person that knows all the right questions to ask, nor am I the person that knows all the car jargon, or geek things that some others maybe into. Basically I'm the perfect person to get over on when it comes to buying a car. In past experiences going to dealerships left me feeling drained, exhausted, uneducated, and simply not in the best of moods, and plainly put.... Stupid. Let me tell you this. Yesterday was thee FIRST time that I've ever went into a dealership and had the best experience EVER!!! Jonathan Bivens welcomed me from the moment that I walked in, and took his time to make sure he answered every question that I had, he broke everything down to me in language that I could understand, and literally took away my fear of going into a car dealership. He was literally heaven sent and a blessing. This dealership is truly blessed to have someone like Jonathan on their staff. Although I haven't purchased my car yet, I've already made up my mind that when that time comes, which will be VERY SOON, Mini Universal City is the ONLY place that will get my business. I encourage everyone that is in the market of purchasing a vehicle, take a trip down to Mini Universal City and I promise you won't regret it. The entire staff is amazing, however Jonathan is the rock star in my opinion, so be sure to ask for him! Mini Universal City..... See you sooner than later”

“Everyone was friendly and helpful. The finance department (Sharon) was patient and went over every detail. Jon (salesperson) showed me all the features and didn’t try too hard to sell me. I would definitely do business again with the team in the future.”

“Excellent experience buying my new Mini. Great selection of cars ( both new and pre-owned). Sergio was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He guided us to exactly what we were looking for with no pressure. I was able to test drive multiple cars and had every question answered. When I decided on the car I wanted the financial process was also seamless. While my husband and I dealt with the financial part of the process, my car was sent to detailing so when we were finished with finance the car was detailed to perfection and waiting for me to drive it home. Sergio our salesperson went over all the features and directions for everything in the vehicle and made sure we were set with his contact information for any questions in the future. It was the best experience I’ve ever had buying a car and would highly recommend Mini of Universal City.”
