“I set an appointment to come see and buy a specific car. I live an hour away, so before driving out I made sure to confirm that the vehicle was still available. I was told yes, it’s here and ready.
I get there after driving all that way, and suddenly I’m told the car was already sold.
No call. No heads up. Nothing.
I wasted my time, gas, and rearranged my schedule for this. This is hands down the worst experience and worst customer service I’ve ever had at a dealership. Completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone”

“One of the best experience we ever had. We recieved a good price for our car, everybody was friendly, and answered all our questions. It was my daughters first car, they made us feel good about our decision to sale it. As soon as you walk into the door, everyone is saying " Good morning" highly recommended”

“Truthfully, the service of John Thornton Chevrolet was unfulfilling. I dropped my car off to your location Wednesday evening for an 8am appt on Thursday for my driver passenger seat 💺 to be put back onto the track. My car was in your care all day ONLY for my vehicle passenger seat deemed unfixable. Chuck, your receptionist, mentioned your facility probably could not fix it from the beginning but came out to my vehicle to view my passenger seat himself before I left it with your office.
Only then for Chuck to call me to come obtain my car Friday morning and charged a $199.99 PLUS TAX "diagnostic fee" when I made it clear to simply fix my passenger seat to be able to go forward & backward. The seat motor is working just fine.
I did not need absolutely any additional service, yet I was still charged an astronomical fee for no work successfully completed on my vehicle. I felt robbed and bamboozled when a simple "we are unable to fix your seat" would have sufficed. Then return my keys for me to try an alternate option.
Instead I was told it would be $1,300 for part and labor to fix it. That's RENT prices! It sickens me to have frivolously spent my hard earned money of $200 plus for NOTHING.
Some years back, your establishment fixed my a/c unit on that same vehicle for over $2k. My car is paid off so it was worth fixing at that time. However, trusting your office this time around has definitely steered me away from future business with John Thornton Chevrolet. Thanks for listening.”
