“My wife and I purchased our first car a few months ago from Doug Smith Kia. While we were unfamiliar with the entire process, Gilbert was very kind and helpful. We were able to get the car we were hoping for at a price we felt good about. Plan on at least an hour to go through the entire process of getting approved for financing, reviewing the warranty options, signing the papers etc. Would recommend working with Gilbert, he was very kind and answered all of our questions.”

“Happy to update this once resolution has been achieved—my peace of mind has been taken by the Doug Smith Kia service team. I went in for one of the oil changes included with the purchase of my 2024 Kia Sportage on 10/06/25 and upon trying to drive the next day (10/7/25) my engine exploded and a lake of oil filled my covered parking spot as well as my neighbors spot. I was completely terrified. When I contacted Doug Smith, they tried to get me to tow my car to Jerry Seiner as it was closer, but I refused because this was a blatant Doug Smith error. Kia sent a tow truck to pick up my un-drivable car that has less than 20k miles on it. This happened around 4pm and Doug Smith Kia sent someone the next morning with a loaner car and a clean up crew. Within about 30 minutes from the tow truck driver sending me confirmation of delivery — the Doug Smith Kia Service department called me to tell me they had checked out my car and were filling it back up with oil — they had over torqued something that caused all of the oil to leave my engine. They told me everything was fine with the car and I could have it dropped off to me first thing in the morning— until we inquired as to how anything could have been checked out that fast. After escalating the issue to Mike the Service Dept Manager, he told us the car hadn’t even been started or fully checked out yet. So how can they know that internal/engine damage has not been done? Why did they try to send me my car back without it being properly assessed? It wasn’t until the next day (10/08) after asking someone from the clean up crew to have Mike call me (he told me his day starts at 7 am and I would be his first call of the day—I wasn’t), that I received more information. Mike and his service team have now agreed to do the bare minimum of driving the car around, doing an oil flush and checking for shavings/other damage to the car. Mike promised us an update the afternoon of 10/8 and I have yet to speak with Mike as of the evening of 10/9, despite my efforts. Someone from his team ended up calling me back and told me that they had no further updates other than they are, “working on it.” The Doug Smith Kia Service team has stripped me of the peace of mind that I paid for when I bought a brand new car from them and brought it back in to be serviced properly and according to Kia’s specifications. This is wholly unacceptable in the way they have tried to brush this under the rug. I’m happy to update this as Doug Smith Kia strives to restore the peace of mind that they have now taken from me.”

AJ was our salesman very easygoing and didn’t feel any pressure in the purchase. He was willing to help with all our needs! Bailey did our finance super friendly and had great suggestions on what extended warranty’s to consider. Our third car/van we have purchased from Ken Garff Kia…keep up the great work!”

“I don't think you could ask for a better dealership or a more efficient way of buying a vehicle! The people here are amazing Courtney got me all set up online there was no negotiating there was no back and forth the price is what it was and the terms are exactly what I wanted! I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour and a half keys in hand and connected to my phone! Go get a car from them cuz I hope you have the exact same experience of buying a car as I did!”
