I recently purchased a 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid from Honda Libertyville, and overall my experience was excellent. One of the main reasons I chose Honda Libertyville was because they offered me 0% financing, which was a great deal.
Iāll be honestāthere were a couple of times during the process when things didnāt work out and I even left in between, thinking the deal might not happen. However, the team handled everything in a very professional and respectful way and worked hard to manage the situation properly.
In particular, the sales representative Andres Mendoza provided outstanding service. From start to finish, Andres was professional, helpful, and extremely polite. He explained all the features clearly, answered every question patiently, and made sure the entire process became smooth and stress-free in the end.
I would also like to appreciate the rest of the staff at Honda Libertyville for being welcoming, cooperative, and supportive throughout the purchase.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Honda Libertyville, especially Andres Mendoza.ā

āI scheduled a transmission fluid change for 10:30 a.m. and made the appointment by phone, clearly explaining the service needed and that a family member would be dropping off the car.
When my family member arrived, he was told the service would take about 1.5 hours.
At 2:30 p.m., I received a call asking why I missed my appointment, despite my car being there since 10:30 a.m. The dealership later admitted they forgot to check my car in and apologized, stating they had overbooked appointments by 50 cars.
To make matters worse, after picking up my car, I discovered the underbody panel had not been reinstalled correctly and was dragging while driving. This was the only service I brought the car in for.
Very disappointing experience due to poor communication, scheduling issues, and careless workmanshipā

āvery disappointed, i got my car last year of november and everything was perfectly fine till i went in for an oil change and these guys didnāt think to make sure the skid plate was secured putting my family and i at risk. i was on a busy highway when the plate started scraping i went to find somewhere to pull over and saw they didnāt put the bolt back on to hold it and it also caused the splash guards to break from it being dragged by the skid plate. i made an appointment and they said they fixed it but they didnāt even replace the part or anything. i paid 40,000 for a civic and they want to tell me my 25,000 mile warranty expires at 24k which was never mentioned by the financial advisor. i liked honda but the lack of employee help is not worth coming hereā

āIf I could give them no stars I would. Everything was great until I handed over my check for the used car I purchased. After that it was almost impossible to talk to anyone there about an issue I had with my car. My car had only 16k miles on it, so it was in very good condition. So I thought! When I brought my new car over to my sonās house he pointed out that a piece of trim on the roof of my car was missing. I hadnāt noticed. My son is 6ft tall and Iām only 5ā3. He could see the empty spot up there where the trim was supposed to be. I tried to contact my salesperson to make him aware of the missing part. I tried sending an email 3 different times with pictures, with no response. On my 4th try somebody else responded saying heād let my sales person know I was trying to contact him. I waited a few days and contacted the person that was supposed to give him the message. He said he passed the message on. I explained my issue to him. He said too much time had passed since I bought the car and there was nothing that could be done. It was less than 30 days! In the meantime I finally heard from my salesperson. He said the car came in missing that piece of trim and I should just go to a Mazda dealership and buy one. I told him I wasnāt willing to do that since they knew it was missing that part and shouldnāt have been put out in the lot that way. I suggested they order the part from Mazda and I would have my son put it on. I never got a response. I contacted the the general manager at Honda of Libertyville about this issue. I never got a response.
So hereās a warning of what to expect when you are car shopping. Customer service is great until you walk out the door. Then you shouldnāt expect anything else from them because they wonāt bother to respond! Go to a different dealership!!!ā

āWent in to get a 2022 Camry and walked away with a 2025 Honda civic sport. I wanna say thanks to the sales team especially Tegan aka (TT) sheās a miracle worker and pure soul, also to Trey the person who help me the during my entire time there, the sales manager, whoās name I forgot, see you in Ocho Rios šÆš² soon my friend, you closed the deal for me making the process seamlessly awesome. Big thanks to you and all the friendly staff of Honda Libertyville who all played a part in my awesome experience. From the guy who gave me the drill to the person who washed my car to the person who showed me the bathroom the person who take the time to ask me how Iām doing and how my day is and if I need anything.
