“I recently visited Fairway Chevrolet in Henderson, NV with high hopes of purchasing a new vehicle, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I drove 4.5 hours to buy the Jeep I had my eye on, expecting a straightforward and honest transaction. At first, the salesman was very accommodating and seemed genuinely interested, ensuring they could meet or exceed my pre-approved rate from my credit union, the jeep would be topped off and they would provide the second key fob. One of the most disappointing aspects was that the dealership did not honor the agreed-upon financing terms, even though I have excellent credit. Despite assurances during the negotiation process, I was later presented with less favorable rates and conditions, with little explanation or willingness to remedy the situation. This left me feeling misled and frustrated, as I had expected a straightforward process given my strong credit history. Additionally, I was told there was no warranty included with my Jeep purchase. However, when reviewing the paperwork, I discovered a $2,000 warranty had been added to my contract without my knowledge or consent and significantly increased the final price. I chose to cancel this warranty and must wait 8-10 weeks for reimbursement. This lack of transparency and communication was truly disappointing and felt deceptive. The most frustrating issue was the unkept promise of a second key fob for my vehicle. Despite being assured during the test drive that it would be provided and after making numerous follow-up calls, I never received the key fob. Every time I called, they said the fob was missing and refused compensation or replacement. I was told by the salesman, “oh, they’re not that expensive”. With cost of fob and programing, they run over $400. To make matters worse, I was told the car would be thoroughly detailed and the gas tank topped off before I left. However, after driving away, I noticed the vehicle had less than half a tank of fuel. When I called the salesman, I was promised a gas card to make up for it, but much like the other promises, that card never materialized. I was Zelled $30. However, it took me $50 to top off, which I sent proof to salesman. When I spoke to manager, he stated that used cars only get ½ tank, and gas cards issued are only $25, so I was lucky to get the other $5! Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership to others. There are many other dealerships that value their customers and offer transparent pricing and better service.”
