“Update: 6/10/22 - as you can see the automated bs response below - no one has reached out & I suspect no one will. They already told me they will do absolutely nothing to remedy this situation. Good luck doing business with this dealer. My wife and I purchased a 2015 Volvo XC70 from this dealership and were sold a $5,200 Veritas warranty by the finance department. We were specifically told that if repairs were needed, we could take the vehicle to a Volvo dealer and the warranty would cover qualifying repairs. When we eventually had a warrantable repair, the experience was a complete disappointment. The claim was denied, and getting straight answers from the warranty company was nearly impossible. They then approved the $700 repair as long as I cover $500!! The deductible is $100. They make up labor rates and parts cost that are not even close to reality. The warranty that was presented as valuable protection turned out to be virtually worthless when we actually needed it. Even more concerning was what happened with the brakes. Prior to selling us the vehicle, the dealership performed a brake job. We later discovered that incorrect brake components had been installed. The result was a brake failure while my wife was driving the vehicle. There are few things more serious than a dealership performing safety-related work incorrectly and putting a family on the road. After bringing both issues to the dealership's attention, we attempted to resolve the matter professionally. We requested reimbursement for the brake repairs and a refund of the warranty that failed to provide the protection we were promised. The dealership declined to take responsibility. Our experience can be summarized simply: • Sold a $5,200 warranty that provided little to no value when needed. • Performed brake work that contributed to a safety-critical failure. • Refused to make the situation right when given the opportunity. Buying a vehicle requires trust. Based on our experience, that trust was not earned here. I would strongly encourage prospective buyers to thoroughly investigate any extended warranty products being sold here and have any dealership-performed safety repairs independently inspected.”
