“Recently purchased a new-to-me 2023 Honda TrailSport from Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel, and overall we had a very positive experience. Our sales representative, Jose Sereant, was great to deal with from start to finish. Very personable, easy to talk to, and never made us feel pressured during the process. I would absolutely recommend considering Jose as your sales representative if you’re shopping there. Ryan was also very helpful in helping close the deal by working with us on a fair trade-in value for our 2010 Ford Expedition. He helped everything go through with minimal hiccups and also assisted with offering a protection plan and extended warranty options that provided good value and peace of mind to help keep our purchase on the road long-term. Isaac Chee, the General Manager, was pleasant to deal with as well and took time to be involved throughout the experience. The only dispute I have with our overall experience involved a promotional item. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, we were told we would be leaving that day with a 70-inch TV, only to later find out we would instead be entered into a raffle drawing. Honestly, the TV itself was never the deal breaker for us, but I firmly believe a company is only as good as its word. If a sale is discussed with certain promises or incentives, those expectations should be honored just as customers are expected to honor their signatures, trade-ins, and down payments. My recommendation to anyone purchasing here — or at any dealership — is to make sure any promotional offers or special promises are put in writing before taking ownership of the vehicle. Once the paperwork is signed, the trade-in is gone, and the down payment is made, there’s very little leverage left if expectations suddenly change. That said, the staff overall treated us well, and we are very happy with the 2023 Honda TrailSport.”
