Great experience and I got just the car I wanted for a great price! From walking-in just to test drive a car I had researched online, I met the staff (who were all great) with a special shoutout to Brevin Cassady who helped me thru the test drive . I told him I wanted the car but in a specific color. One which they didn’t have at that dealership. Brevin asked if I wanted him to see if he could get one in the color I wanted at LaFontaine Buick GMC Lansing. No pressure, no double talk, he just asked if he could help me out in that way. I took him up on it and in a couple days, he had the car I asked for at LaFontaine. And then I changed my mind and told him I actually wanted a different color. He didn’t pressure or say anything negative, and, In a couple days, he had that car in the new color I wanted. We talked straight about the price, the features and within about 5 days of walking in, I had the exact car I wanted in the color I’d switched to and at a price that was fair to both me and LaFontaine. It was the perfect experience and I’m telling everyone I know, if you want a great car buying experience without the pressure and BS, go to LaFontaine and ask for Brevin. You will not be disappointed. A couple weeks after the deal was all done, when I was loving my new Buick, I texted him about something else I wanted on the car and without hesitation he told me to come on right back in. PERFECT BUYER EXPERIENCE - seriously, go to LaFontaine and ask for Brevin Cassady. You can’t go wrong and you’ll get the best dealership service anywhere.

They make you feel very comfy while they work on your vehicle. Sweetest part was getting a video message showing and explaining what’s being done on my car. Pricy services but kudos for professionalism!

We located a very nice, clean low-milage 2023 Chevy Equinox on CarFax.com. I connected with Caleb at LaFontaine to be sure it was onsite and available. It was. Got to the lot, drove the vehicle - exactly as advertised. No high pressure sales, and our sales specialist, Caleb, readily knew his stuff and was able to answer any and all questions we had. Couldn’t pass it up, so we bought that same day and added a CarBravo extended warranty. Dave arranged financing quickly at a very competitive rate from a local CU, and then he walked us through a very efficient digital closing that evening. His courtesy and efficiency got the deal closed so we could take delivery the next day- they even had our new car delivered to my house! Would highly recommend buying from this dealership team, and we’ll be back for service and our next vehicle! We had a GREAT purchasing experience, best in more than 20 years. Thank you and kudos to the crew at LaFontaine. They really do make you feel like family.

Unsafe Vehicle Sold, Now Undrivable - 1 star review I purchased a 2006 GMC Canyon from LaFontaine on November 20, 2025 for over $12,000. I understood it was sold "as is" and I accepted that risk. What I did not expect was a vehicle with serious structural damage that makes it unsafe to drive. When I brought the truck to my mechanic because the brake light was on, he discovered that the frame has rusted through and one of the rear leaf spring mounts has failed. This is not normal wear and tear. This is a structural safety issue that would have been visible with a basic inspection before the sale. I contacted the dealership right away. Corey, the general sales manager at the time, told me they would work with me on some kind of exchange. I felt hopeful. Then I received word that nothing would be done because the vehicle was sold "as is." The truck has been sitting ever since. It is not safely drivable. I am not looking for something unreasonable. I have asked the dealership to either buy back the vehicle or help cover the cost of repairing the structural damage so I can safely drive what I paid for. I have not received a meaningful response. I am sharing this because I believe other buyers should know. If you are considering a used vehicle purchase here, please get an independent inspection before signing anything. I wish I had.
