āMy experience here was "mostly" positive. So a few weeks back i came to look at a lexus suv, i would have been trading in my lexus sedan, before arriving we discussed the trade in value for my vehicle. Their offer was on the higher end of the trade in value and the vehicle they were selling was listed at a fair price, as part of the deal i was including all original equipment as my vehicle was modified. I showed up about 15 mins late due to road conditions and the loading of the equipment. When i arrived i was not greeted, i had to announce my presence which was kind of odd but no biggie, so we hopped right in for the test drive while they test drove my trade in. Right away i noticed the vehicle had 12 miles until empty, not a huge deal i as i wasn't intending on driving far, after thoroughly checking out this suv i returned about 25 mins later. We sat down and the salesman explained they would honor the trade in value i was told over the phone (great news!) i then said the total out the door number i'd need to be at to close this deal... The salesman responded "that's never gonna happen"... I was shocked but i said okay then thank you for your time... He then said "oh you meant with the trade in?"... I was flabbergasted because that was the whole premise of the deal and what we had just spoken about but he said he would check with the boss, & that the number i said shouldn't be a problem with my trade. He came back meeting me right at my out the door number, we talked over financing options, and i politely asked if they could fill the tank since the lexus i was trading in had a full tank of premium gas, he said "no i wouldn't even make it to the gas station".. at this point i said i needed a minute...so i stepped outside and thought about it and decided not to go through with the deal...it felt silly that this guy would say that considering if he wouldn't make it then how could i!? Imagine buying a new to you car and upon leaving you break down because of an empty tank. This deal entirely fell appart over a tank of gas but that told me everything i needed to know about this dealership.ā

I had so much anxiety, as this was my first big car purchase and Matt answered every question I had. He made my out-of-state buying experience seamless! I went through so much trial and error with this process and had been looking for months! Iām so glad I was patient and encountered an honest, patient, and knowledgeable car salesman like Matt! Matt went the extra mile to make sure I had my car in time for Thanksgiving to travel home to my family. I have cried tears of joy several times since receiving the car and I am in awe of how God allowed this to come together for me! I am forever grateful and have already started recommending friends. āI had a great experience with Matt. He was very transparent with all the details and gave competitive pricing immediately. I was a little wary about doing an out-of-state purchase, but Matt was on top of everything. I also organized a pre-purchase inspection with Affordable Automotive Service down the street (they were 5/5 stars as well), and Matt was quick to address any issues they found. Overall very streamlined, and if I need another affordable second-hand vehicle car in the future, I would strongly consider going with Next Step Auto Sales even if I am still out-of-state. Highly recommend!ā

āI couldn't be happier with the experience I had in buying my car from Next Step Auto. The owner worked with me on a price and allowed me time to get my funds together. Although there were other interested buyers after I put my money down, he kept his word. This shows the company's integrity along with their willingness to quickly rectify a preexisting mechanical issue with the car from the previous owner. The salesman, Matt, was so friendly and easy going that I felt no sense of pressure. The entire staff made me feel at home as they were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend purchasing a car from Next Step Auto! They're the best!ā

āThis was my best-used car purchase ever! Mike and Matt were responsive and easy to deal with. The car price, as advertised, was low and similar to others of the same year, make, and model in the area. They gave me a fair price for my trade, and their financing options were the best offered to me during this buying process.
Nine-month update, after using this for 15,000 miles now, I still love the vehicle and my purchase experience at Next Step.ā
