“My husband and I went in knowing exactly what we wanted, what our budget was, and hoping not to have to spend all day long at the dealership. Chris was our sales guy, he was very nice and professional and very easy to work with. He took what we said and worked with us to get us the deal we were hoping for. We were only there for a few hours and from start to finish this was probably the smoothest and easiest car purchasing experience we’ve ever had. “🚨 Buyer Beware – Safety & Financial Concerns at Cable Dahmer 🚨 If you value your family’s safety and your peace of mind, I strongly urge you not to purchase a vehicle from Cable Dahmer in Kansas City Missouri. My experience has been a complete nightmare from the day I signed the papers until now. At the end of July, I purchased a 2022 Tahoe. Just one day later, while driving 75 mph on the highway with my 4-month-old baby in the back seat, the vehicle suddenly locked up due to a bad body valve. I was nearly forced to a complete stop in traffic. This could have easily caused a serious accident. While the valve has since been repaired, the fact remains: this vehicle was not properly inspected before being sold, and I should never have been put in that dangerous situation. On top of the safety issue, the financial side has been just as frustrating. Cable Dahmer “lost” my down payment check and tried to claim it had bounced—when in reality, it was never deposited. I had to re-write a new check and overnight it to them just so they would release my lease paperwork (which I need to get tags). Five days later, that replacement check still hasn’t been cashed and I still do not have paper work to get my tags. (apparently now, the overnighted check is stuck with UPS) The sales manager, David was sarcastic and dismissive throughout the entire process. In my personal opinion he seemed a little sexist and made a few remarks that lead me to believe this. Very unprofessional. Buying a vehicle is supposed to give you peace of mind—not endanger your family, risk your finances, and cause ongoing stress. I regret buying from Cable Dahmer and want to warn others before they experience what I went through.”
