“⭐ 1 Star – Very Disappointing Experience
I bought a 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan SE R-Line Black from Tom Bush Volkswagen, and the problems started immediately after I drove it off the lot.
The biggest issue is a seatbelt error that causes the car to automatically shift into Park when I turn my body to reverse, even though my seatbelt is on. That’s a serious safety concern. I’ve brought it in multiple times and keep getting told they “don’t see anything wrong,” even though the alert still shows up.
Other issues that came up right away:
• Rear window defroster doesn’t work
• Warped trim on the driver’s door
• Scratched molding between the front and rear doors, caused by the dealership’s detailers
In just five weeks, this brand-new car has already been in and out of service several times and is still waiting on parts.
The sales experience wasn’t great either. My salesman, Randy, was okay, but communication and follow-up were nothing special.
The finance process was uncomfortable. The finance person who handled my paperwork works at the Tom Bush Mazda store but processed my Volkswagen financing. Instead of focusing on the transaction, he spent much of the time talking about his personal wealth, his divorce, and how much money he spends on cars and houses. That kind of conversation felt unprofessional and out of place.
When I asked about getting into a different vehicle because of all these issues, I was told my $40,000 car is now worth $28,000 after just five weeks.
I’ve bought several vehicles from Tom Bush dealerships before, but this experience made it clear that once the sale is done, you’re pretty much on your own. Customer service has been disappointing, and I won’t be doing business with this dealership again.
UPDATE 12/26/26: I just got my vehicle back from service after the rear window was replaced, and the situation is now worse. Multiple panels are scratched and cracked, and the rear wiper is broken. Each service visit seems to introduce new damage instead of fixing existing problems.”

“I just wanted to praise Gibril and Jim once more!!!! I decided to trade my GTI in on a Tiguan and once again treated with respect and NO BS!!! I told them what I wanted / needed and they made it happen. They didn’t pressure me into one thing or another. It’s refreshing going to a dealership and not having people try to sell you want you don’t want or need!Definitely a top notch experience as usual. Photos below are before and after”

“Gabe was amazing with helping us find the car that was comfortable for us! The whole experience was better than any dealership me and my fiancé dealt with the entire day while car searching. Tom Bush VW dealership and their team were so kind while helping us find the car for us. They were honest, laid back, understanding, and respectful of our budget even going as far as working with us to meet us half way with our price and theirs, something that previous dealerships hadn’t done. They treated us like people and not cash grabs! I would 1000% buy another car here or trade my car in here in the future if I needed.”

“Atilla our sales representative was helpful from the start to finish. He was never pushy in negotiating. Him and the general manager worked their best to give my wife and I the best deal possible. They made ends meet and they treated us like family the whole time. One of the best dealership experiences I’ve had in a long time.”
