“I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience at this GMC dealership.
I brought my red GMC Sierra in for a transmission issue covered under warranty. My vehicle was left at the dealership for 59 days, and for 50 of those days it was not started or worked on. During that entire time, I continued paying my vehicle loan and insurance while my truck remained sitting unused in their custody.
When I finally received a call that my vehicle was ready, I was informed without prior notice or authorization that they had replaced the battery and were charging me $200. The battery failed while the truck was under their care after sitting for an extended period without being started. I was never contacted for approval, never informed of the cost, and never given the option to decide.
Since purchasing this truck as a gift for my husband, every warranty related visit to this dealership has been a stressful and frustrating experience. Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated situation. I have had multiple prior visits where I brought the vehicle in for warranty work and ended up being charged for additional issues. Because of these repeated experiences, I now document the vehicle condition with photos and videos before every visit.
Based on my experience, I do not feel treated with transparency or fairness as a customer, and I am very disappointed with the level of service I have received from GMC through this dealership. I would not choose to purchase from a GMC dealer again.”

“Absolutely horrific experience yet again. A few months ago I ordered a hard cover for my 2025 Silverado and prepaid for install. We had an "appointment" for 11:30am on a Monday morning. We were told that it takes about an hour to install so naturally we "assumed" the truck would be done by the time we got out of work. Jokes on us. Monday morning appt and the truck was not ready until Tues afternoon. 2 days with no truck for a job that took an hour and we had an appointment? Chris DeAngelis the appointed service advisor was dismissive so I left a message for the service department manager Brian Allard who NEVER returned my call. After this experience I should have known better. Lesson was not learned after that experience hence my continued frustration. I ordered a dash cam and again prepaid for installation with another Monday at 11:30 am "appointment". We called the dealership several times Monday with the final call at 3pm and the truck was not even brought into the garage for install. AGAIN we are assigned Chris DeAngelis and again equally as useless as the 1st experience and again left a message for Brian Allard who has yet to return my call and again the truck was not completed until til Tues afternoon so another 2 days for a job that takes an hour. Not only did it take 2 days to install the dash cam but when we picked up the truck we were told it's wired and we would have to mount it ourselves. We paid for the Install and if the camera was not going to be installed then we want a refund. How convenient that as soon as we asked for a refund a service tech came out to mount the camera. Chris so ignorantly said our "appointment" is just placing us in line for service. If that is the case then perhaps the service department should look up the definition of "appointment". We received 6 reminders about our "appointment". And yet are told this is a placeholder and NOT an :appointment".
We bought the truck from Hurd so wanted to service there as well. We also have a Tahoe that has been serviced there.
The service department has no idea what professionalism is, efficiency, customer service or accountability.
This dismissive behavior from Hurd Service one would think their service was exclusive. These are Chevy vehicles not Range Rovers. There are 5 Chevy dealerships in the little state if RI so one would think the service would be of a company that wants to keep their customers. Again jokes on me.
