“This dealer is shady and you should stay away. I bought a new EV6 from them in August for just under 50k out the door. I had contacted other dealers who all offered me a little over 50k. There were several major issues:
1. The biggest problem is that they filed paperwork with the IRS claiming that I transferred my 7500 federal EV tax credit to them. This is a lie. We never discussed the tax credit, nor did any paperwork I signed say that the tax credit was part of the deal. The other dealers I talked to explicitly did not include the rebate in their price. Essentially Kia HB lied about the price and actually charged me 57k. The worst part is that I'm not eligible to claim the tax credit, so now the IRS is going to come after me for the 7500 that Kia HB took from me.
2. They were supposed to give me a copy of the report that they filed with the IRS within 3 days of the sale. They never did that and haven't responded to my requests since then. This is a legal requirement for them for the tax credit, and they are not complying.
3. I paid for my car in full at the time of purchase. Even so, they made me fill out paperwork as if I was leasing the car and paying the lease off in full. I'm still not sure how this has or will affect me, but taken together with the behavior around the tax rebate, it makes me feel even more like I've been scammed.
Overall, I wish I had gone to one of the other dealers. Even if the IRS doesn't come after me for the 7500 rebate, this whole situation has been unnecessarily stressful.
(By the way, I've emailed the supposed manager Mauricio about this, and he has ignored my emails.)”

“I can't speak for the sales but I had a really good experience with the service department. My car had a failed engine at a little over 100k miles. The standard warranty already expired, but found out it's a known factory defect and luckily the issue was eligible for extended warranty for my model year despite being an older car (YMMV). Took it in and the service advisor Armando took care of me right away. He is very professional and laid back, kept me informed and updated throughout the process. He confirmed the extended warranty applied and had Kia approve the replacement. The technicians did a fantastic job in getting the engine replaced and now my car is running good. The whole process took about a week. Armando also recommended me the things to be done in my own time, which I greatly appreciate. Overall, I recommend Armando and the service department technicians for the car serviced under warranty.”

“I recently leased a Kia EV9 from Car Pros Kia Huntington Beach, and I can’t say enough about how great the experience was thanks to Peter. From the very beginning, he was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free, patiently answering all of my questions and walking me through every detail.
What stood out most was how genuine and approachable Peter was—no pressure, no rush, just honest guidance and support. He took the time to explain everything clearly, helped me feel confident in my decision, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way.
Another special touch that made the day even more memorable was the dealership’s tradition of hitting a gong when you make your purchase. My boys got to do it, and it was such a unique, fun first-time experience for them—they absolutely loved it!
If you’re looking for a salesperson who is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about your experience, I highly recommend asking for Peter. He turned what could have been a stressful process into an enjoyable one, and I’m absolutely thrilled with my new Kia EV9!”

“I've been buying cars for 60 years and this was best car shopping experience I've ever had--no exaggeration. I dealt with only two people there, Long Nam Tran, the sales representative, and Edmar Mendoza, the Finance Manager. Long provided accurate, timely information, by phone, text and email ahead of time, and when we came into the dealership. No "manager" or deal closer was brought in to pressure us into closing the deal. In fact, there was no pressure at all, even though it happened to be the last day of the month and salesmen at other dealerships bombarded us with calls and emails about how this was absolutely the last day to get the "terrific" deal they were offering. I imagine that Long also was glad to close a deal on the evening of the last day of the month, but he said nothing about it. All the negotiations were conducted remotely by phone, text or email and we agreed on a price that was substantially better than other dealers. Long gave us a fair quote for our trade-in but when we showed him a higher quote from another dealer, he matched it.
When we arrived at the dealership, Long had the car we had discussed, a Kia EV9 Wind, ready and waiting and just finishing charging. We had a few more questions, which Long answered himself after making some inquiries when he didn't know the answer off the top of his head. As I said, there was no pressure; we felt we could walk out at any time. But we had shopped around and the price was, indeed, very good and there was no effort to get us to buy "dealer add-ons". We did buy an extended warranty, but only because we asked about it. Finance Manager Edmar Mendoza quoted us a price, we haggled a bit and he accommodated us.
The showroom is clean and well maintained, but sort of small. I actually like that. Big, showrooms are expensive and I figure the cost gets factored into the sales price. I like a business that keeps prices low by maintaining functional but not extravagant facilities. At one point, as we were waiting for the paperwork, I stepped outside to get away from the music. Long came out to check on us and when I told him I didn't like the music, he found another location inside with no music where we could wait. Everything worked out just great and we drove the new car home.
Long and Edmar were business-friendly but not oily like so many car sales people. In the days following the purchase, I got 2 or 3 emails from what I assume were supervisors or quality control people asking whether everything was OK with the purchase, whether we needed help figuring out the many electronic features--and there a lot of them!--or otherwise needed assistance. As it happens, we didn't, but the inquiries were appreciated.
Buying a new car can be complicated these days, with all the discounts, dealer add-ons, government rebates and multitude of features and models. This dealership, and particularly sales person, Long, made it all easy. It was worth driving down from Los Angeles to buy our Kia EV9 from them.”

“I recently purchased my Kia from Youssef and Mike and the experience was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcome, listened to what I was looking for, and guided me through the process without any pressure.
They were extremely knowledgeable about the features, patiently answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident in my decision. The entire buying process was smooth, transparent, and much faster than I expected.
I’m absolutely thrilled with my new car—it’s exactly what I wanted—and I have Youssef and Mike to thank for making it such a stress-free experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car!”
