“My experience with Volvo Car Dealership has been extremely disappointing. When I purchased my 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT43, I was promised that an interior repair would be completed after the sale. This promise was important in my decision to purchase the vehicle, and I was provided with an IOU documenting the repair. After the purchase, I contacted my sales representative several times to schedule the repair, only to be told that he had returned to college. I then reached out directly to the dealership, where the finance office manager informed me that they were experiencing legal issues related to issuing IOUs and that they would no longer honor mine. Regardless of any internal changes or issues the dealership may be facing, I don't believe it's acceptable to refuse to fulfill a written commitment that was made as part of a vehicle purchase. Customers should not be expected to bear the consequences of a dealership's internal policies or legal matters after the sale has been completed. To make matters worse, I have contacted the dealership more than 10 times seeking a resolution. Despite my repeated attempts, I have received little to no follow-up, no meaningful communication, and no effort to resolve the issue. The lack of customer service and accountability has been just as frustrating as the broken promise. I expected professionalism, honesty, and a commitment to standing behind the agreements made during the sale. Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously and works to improve how it treats its customers and honors its commitments.”

“My review is on a warranty issue, my 2019 xc-90, suddenly lost it's brakes driving to Houston (we live in San Antonio area) We didn't know what was wrong with it, I discovered the car was still under extended warranty. So we had it towed to the closest dealer to our location and made arrangements to get back home. At the end of this 100% covered warranty issue I was out almost 1700 dollars on top of the almost 3500 covered by warranty and it still had an engine light on when I got it back. This experence I really got the impression they wanted to see how high could they run the bill up over warranty coverage. First call, bill was 1200. Second call it was 1800, and third call went up over 2200. I stopped talking to them and told them I couldn't afford to talk to them anymore and service sent me a final bill of almost 1700 dollars a couple of days later. Now keep in mind I bought the best extended warranty money can buy and had previous work at a the Austin Volvo earlier in the year and warranty had covered the repair 100% and it required as much or more extensive than this repair. (replaced a evaporator core under the dash for A/C) and Austin's hourly labor rate is more than this dealership. The warranty covers up to 215 hourly rate. Sugarland Volvo Service Department kept finding issues, on one issue the part was 38 dollars on amazon and it took about 10 minutes of labor (PVC Oil Trap) they tried to charge me 600 dollars for it. Unforetunitly once I researched this I called back to tell them to not to do it (about 45 minutes later) they claimed it had already been completed...........of coarse it was....lol. Only positive experence I can say was service advisor met me at the dealership on a Sunday when it was closed to get the vehicle I was pleased with that act of kindness. But I walked away feeling I was taken advantage of, other than the 700 dollar Volvo battery they replaced and even that replaced battery was showing 12 volts before I had it hauled off to their dealership, I will give them the benefit of a doubt on that upsell. I am honesty glad this experment is over and wish I had paid the 1500 it would have cost to tow the vehicle to the Austin Volvo dealership I would have still come out ahead.”

“I recently had an amazing experience at Volvo Cars Sugar Land from both the sales and service teams! My salesperson, Serenity, was fantastic to work with. She made the entire purchasing process smooth, straightforward, and entirely pressure-free. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect with the vehicle. On the service side, my advisor, Christina, was top-tier. She kept me fully updated during the vehicle's inspection and even took the extra time to troubleshoot and resolve an issue where my driver-side mirror wasn't tilting down when putting the vehicle in reverse. If you want a dealership that delivers exceptional customer care from sales to service, I highly recommend asking for Serenity!”

“We bought our car (X90 plug-in hybrid) a few weeks ago and felt now is the right time to write one. Please charge the car daily and we can get up to 50miles/ gallon based on my daily driving data. I even drove to Nashville from Houston (~1800 miles) and back in 3 days. The car handled well and drive was very comfortable. Our buying experience with Ms. Hema was good, seamless, not overly bearing, optimal negotiation. Others in the workplace were professional too. We went on a weekday twice and got all the attention we wanted. Just speculating here - Weekend can be busy and may not be able to get completion. Thank you”

“I bought a XC90 here and I’ll be upfront the initial buying experience wasn’t perfect could’ve been handled a bit better. That being said the experience after was excellent and really changed my overall opinion. Brennan rocks! He got the car in for repairs quickly, kept me in the loop the entire time, and made sure I had a loaner even after the first loaner had a flat tire, we swapped it out with no fuss. While the sales part was ok (I don’t even remember the salesman’s name) the experience with Brennan and team afterward showed they really care about customer satisfaction.”
