“I had a serious safety issue with a tire on my car, which is less than a year old and has under 3,000 miles. While driving on the freeway, the tire completely disintegrated.
I contacted the dealership about warranty coverage, and even after speaking with a supervisor, they refused to investigate or help, saying it wasn’t covered. I was shocked—they didn’t inspect the tire or offer to facilitate a claim with the manufacturer, leaving me to handle a dangerous situation entirely on my own.
I ended up working directly with Michelin for reimbursement, but the dealership’s dismissive response was extremely frustrating. For safety concerns like this, I would expect a dealership to at least take the matter seriously.”

“We bought a used car in October 2025. The salesman is good.
However, Subara said the car went through all the inspections and was in great condition. After my purchase, I have my mechanic check the car, which has missing screws in the door and engine. It surprised me that what kind of inspection Subaru did, or did they forget to them the screws back?
We still not received the license plate yet as of today, 1/4/26. The temp plate has expired by 1/4/26. I called their office about 12/31. Subaru Hayward said they just finished internal paperwork and submitted it to DMV on 12/30/25. What the hell, they have 3 months to submit the paperwork to DMV. Why do they wait until the last day? If I get pulled over, Will Subaru pay the ticket?
All in all, very disappointed buying to used car over there.”

“I had a great experience working with Mustafa at Subaru of Hayward. He was kind, reasonable, and pleasant to work with from start to finish. He went above and beyond coordinating my car delivery and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. What I appreciated most was that he never felt pushy or like he was trying to upsell me on things I didn't need. If you're looking for a new Subaru, I'd definitely recommend asking for Mustafa.”

“We took my 2020 Subaru Outback XT in to Subaru of Hayward, formerly One Subaru, for an oil change and to have a problem diagnosed and repaired, on a Monday. My car was shuddering when making tight turns at low speeds (think parking lots). I was concerned as I knew the dealership had been sold since my last visit. I had been very satisfied with service from One Subaru. I am happy to say that things continued to go well in the service department. We had Clarissa for our advisor for this job. She helped us arrange to have the car driven by Juan, with my husband along, to confirm that he could feel the problem. The issue turned out to be in the transfer clutch. Clarissa immediately contacted Subaru to determine whether the repair could be done under warranty. That was arranged and the parts needed were ordered. The parts took two days to arrive, then the car had to sit for 18 hours after the repair before it could be driven. We were able to pick the car up Friday morning. Throughout this time Clarissa was very good about communicating what was happening. All-in-all a pleasant experience and we will continue to take our Subaru to this dealership.”

“Modern, clean, and big dealership with a lot of technicians / service stations! I was here for my Subie repair services and had a wonderful experience! I'm not going to say my repairs were cheap, however, I will say the servicing staff were honest, transparent, and knowledgeable. If i needed dealership services again, hands down I'll visit again being that this place (twice for me) is way better than the surrounding Subaru dealerships. Big props to Justin for his dedication and professionalism, I was satisfied with my repairs and experience.”
