“I would like to share my parents’ experience with Tommy Vaughn Ford after they were sold a salvage 2025 Tesla Model Y that will not supercharge. The salesmen informed them to take it to Tesla for repair. Tesla stated that after entering the VIN number, the vehicle was showing as having a salvage title. After inspecting the vehicle, Tesla informed them the car had over $22,000 worth of prior damage that appeared to have been repaired illegally and unsafely. They were told electrical lines had allegedly been glued together instead of being properly repaired. If those lines had failed while driving, it could have caused a very serious accident and potentially put innocent lives at risk. Tesla also confirmed the vehicle was considered unrepairable and needed to be totaled out. This information was shared with the sales representatives, and their response was simply asking if they could find them another car. On top of that, their credit has reportedly been run repeatedly without authorization, and instead of properly resolving the issue, they were offered another auction vehicle ,a Genesis even though they were specifically shopping for a Tesla. Pastor Osorio and Patrick were involved in the deal. We are sharing this experience so others can be aware and thoroughly inspect.”
