“Maddy helped me get my new car and she’s new to the business but she was as helpful as she could be and she’ll do amazing in the business. She’s very sweet and hilarious to be around and her personality sells herself. She ensured I was happy and taken care of the entire time and she truly made the car buying process fun and not an absolute pain in the you know what.
Thank you so much Maddy!!!”

“We purchased a new truck for my father on July 3rd. After checking around with some other dealerships, we contacted Vann York Chevrolet in High Point where I spoke with salesman David French. David was extremely helpful in securing the truck we were interested in. He listened carefully, presented our offer to the Sales Manager Dean Sizemore. After a brief and prompt negotiation with Mr. Sizemore, we secured a deal on the truck. From this point Mr. French handled the remainder of our purchase. The majority of the paperwork was completed before we arrived. Mr. French had the truck cleaned up, gassed up and ready to go once we arrived at the dealership. He took time to go over the truck and most of the key features. He was extremely professional and efficient.
We would also like to note that Vann York did not inflate the price with dealer add ons that we experienced at a few other dealerships we checked with before buying from Vann York. We appreciated that these accessories were optional and not already added on.
In closing, we would like to commend Mr. David French, Mr. Dean Sizemore, and other Vann York staff whom we spoke with during our time at the dealership. Thanks!”

“NOBODY likes the car buying process. But Maddy at Vann York Chevy makes me want to keep coming back here to buy cars from her. I was Maddy’s first sale and I could NOT tell I was her first sale. She was professional and knowledgeable and funny! She made it a joy to be in the dealership which is NEVER the case. Maddy got me into my new Terrain and I traded in my Equinox Snowy! Maddy and Dhruv stayed late to help me get to know the car and I am just so ecstatic with my purchase.
Thank you so much Maddy!!”

“I had the best experience at Van York Chevrolet Buick GMC. I had been looking for a while and found the one I wanted there. Drove from Asheville (3 hrs) but needed to be back home same day no ride. David French, my sales guy went out of his way to get my car to me. Otherwise, a rental would have cost $260 one way! Thank you David for sending it my way and saved me some money!!! Great folks to work with!”

“I purchased a newer truck ‘24 Chevy 3500 4x4 in 2024 with ~7200 miles on it. It came with the standard warranty. The purchasing experience was standard I would say as I didn’t love it and I didn’t absolutely hate it, though a man stopped me as I was passing by to sign paperwork to joke about “we see where all the money is” and that’s rubbed me the wrong way.
I had a spot of paint fail on the driver’s side front quarter panel soon after and there was a known issue with the upper glovebox button not working. These issues were brought to VY’s attention through a meeting there with Andy, the service department manager, and a handful of others from the service department as the paint failure was unique and none of us have ever seen paint fail like it did in that situation. They agreed to warranty both issues. They kept the truck for over 2 weeks. When I got it back there were ants all throughout the vehicle from sitting in the parking lot (no eating in the truck and this happened every time that I dropped my vehicle off to them), there was over spray all over the hood, headlight, side panel and windshield. The failure was near a seam and whoever they had buff the area had buffed paint off the side panel where there was no issue prior but did not fix it while they were painting the original failure. I’m not a car guy and didn’t notice any of this. I was going metal work at a church in greensboro where they hold car shows and all of it was pointed out to me by the head of their maintenance department since he hosts multiple car shows at the church every year. I called Andy and this is where the headaches really started. LOONNNGGGGG story short, I have had appointments set by VY and me arrive to find out I was supposed to be there the day before, but my text vs arrival was correct. I have had phantom appointments set by VY where I show up and they were oblivious to the appointment or who set it on their end. I have had appointments set for work where they knew they would keep the truck but had no courtesy vehicle available multiple times but they had over a week to find that discrepancy beforehand.
I had a call with Joe, the GM of VY Chevrolet where he gave me his word that they would take care of everything brought to his attention only to go to the appointment to see his scribbled notes on a scrap piece of paper that no one could read and he was on vacation…. The warranty issues persisted. A service worker removed a center cap as the seal inside had fallen out and was rattling around inside the center cap. When I got my truck back, the seal was pressed back in but the center cap was gone. They refused to replace it. The electronic four wheel drive control module on the dash fell into the dash and I took it to them under warranty. My dash’s trim pops on and off now and they refuse to take responsibility or fix that. (Clips are broken and missing inside) the list goes on and on with failures, false promises and really shotty work. It’s taken two years for me to come to the point to leave a review about my experiences dealing with VY Chevy. I’ve tried to be patient, understanding and polite, but, I realize now that I should have been more stern and refused to take my vehicle off the lot with warranty issues persisting. I wish there would have been good business done over the period of time I have dealt with VY as my business is now prepared to purchase fleet vehicles and their location is most convenient. I’ll travel further to find someone else to do business with. Sadly, it may not be Chevrolet either as this truck is not what I expected it to be. Forgot about a $2700 out of warranty electrical issue where wires rubbed and grounded out in the fire wall - how is that possible!?? Idk, but GM Goodwill department only gave me $500 back since that should never happen but did. Destroyed both batteries as well. I had that work done at Labonte Chevrolet. (Engine and transmission excluded so far)”
