“I had a terrible and honestly frightening experience with Harvey Nissan 4000 Lapalco Blvd Harvey, LA 70058 I brought my car in for service on 4/29/2026, and after the technician looked at it, I was told by the service rep that I needed the battery wires (both positive and negative) completely replaced. On today May 6, 2026, I ended up stranded on the side of the highway with my kids in the car because my battery was completely loose and not connected properly at all. This put us in a very dangerous situation — we were nearly hit by two 18-wheelers. It was absolutely terrifying and could have ended much worse. I had to call roadside assistance that same day (May 6), and AAA came out to help. The AAA technician also witnessed that the battery was not properly secured and that the terminals were not correctly connected. No one else has touched my battery, and I don’t go under my hood to work on it myself, so this situation is extremely concerning. There is no excuse for a vehicle being returned in that condition after being serviced. I trusted them with my car and my safety, and they failed completely. This level of negligence is unacceptable and dangerous. I would not recommend anyone trust this location with their vehicle. I will never return.”
