“Being from out of state (Pennsylvania) it’s really important to know the car you’re looking at out of state. Especially like Pennsylvania where they have vehicle inspections. Recently, I inquired about a pre owned vehicle at this dealer and it truly fit the bill. The price was fair, mileage and even the doc fee was reasonable.
When I asked about it, the salesperson said it was available and that it’s truly a great looking car. I agree, and he asked when I could come out to see it. I said I would love to come out to see it but I would really need to see the underside of it to give a definitive yes.
He asked why I needed to see the underside and I said I want to visually make sure and have reassurance that the car is clean. I know that it was nearly 10 years old and being a northeast car - I can’t expect perfection. But with those reasons, all the more to get a look of underneath.
He said that it passed a very rigorous inspection and that they wouldn’t retail it if it wasn’t fit. I appreciated the commentary but I still needed to see the underside. We went back and forth and I eventually just gave up because I live almost 2 hours away and I’m not taking the risk of the car being junk because someone said “yep, looks good.” I don’t even expect the car to be on a lift, even just getting a picture by kneeling down would have been enough.
This unfortunately just had me confirm that I don’t need to shop at this store and let others know it’s not worth the hassle or inquiry.”

“I recently was looking for a new car . I went to Spitzer of Hartville . I spoke with salesman Bj Hill and told him what I was searching for as my new uses purchase . I originally went there to look at a used Ford Explorer that they had priced right for me. A Ford Escape St line caught my better halfs eye that was in the showroom. I went down and looked at it , it was very nice . They pulled it out and I test drove it and was very impressed . Still wanting to drive the used Explorer they pulled it up and I test drove it . I then decided I wanted to drive a new Explorer. I did and liked it too. I was kinda set on a white vehicle so I looked at a white one also. When it came time to make a decision, they helped me by breaking down payments , warranty coverage, point being they didn't rush me and took their time. Everyone was amazing respectful and very caring when it came to making the right car choice for me. It wasn't about selling me the most expensive vehicle , they aren't a dealership that works on commission. I choose the Ford Escape and have no regrets! It fits in my ideal payment I wanted to be in and the car performance was what I was searching for as a new car buyer. At the end of the day it was the best car buying experience ive ever experienced! Thank you Spitzer of Hartville ! If you are looking for a relaxed friendly environment for your new or used car purchase stop out amd ask for Bj Hill . You won't regret it!

“I took my vehicle to their body shop as they were I preferred provider with Progressive Insurance. They were good enough to allow me to drop off the vehicle after hours as I live about 40 minutes away from and was not able to meet them in their normal business hours as they align with mine and my wife's work schedule. Everything seemed fine with the repair event and they even got it done within one week ( hey dear ran into my driver's door which required the entire driver's door to be replaced). They were nice enough to make arrangements for me to pick up my vehicle on Saturday as The Body Shop is only open Monday through Friday. I arrived on Saturday and was very happy with the timeliness of the repair thus gave a $200 tip for the Body Shop employees. When I exited the building to get into my vehicle I observed what looked like writing in dust on the rear driver window. After attempting to wipe off I observed that where that writing was was actually a lack of material that would not wipe off. I brought this up to the sales manager of the dealership and he had one of his associates attempt to clean it with glass cleaner and a solvent. Unfortunately this was unsuccessful. I will have to make other arrangements to get what appears to be overspray removed. Also on my drive home I observed that it sounded like my door was slightly open and that the handle on the inside when you pull on it the entire panel moves so apparently something within the panel was not properly secured.
They are nice people to work with and are willing to work around your schedule. Unfortunately the quality of work I can't speak highly of I am not I will have further business with them as this was a major oversight on their part.”

“Buying my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara here was honestly amazing!
As a woman purchasing a car for the first time alone, I was worried I might get taken advantage of, but Jon and the team were genuinely respectful, helpful, and were never pushy.
Everything was super smooth and they delivered the Jeep 2 hours away right to my door!
I really felt like I was in good hands the whole time. I highly highly recommend Jon and this dealership especially if you’re buying solo!”
