“I have a mixed experience with Liberty Mazda. I purchased a Certified 2023 CX30 in the Spring of 2025. This car has wonderful reviews from many different evaluation organizations. The car was coming from a NY auction as it was coming off lease. Before I purchased the car, Liberty Sales was really accommodating and brought the car to the collision mechanic I know to look to see if the car may have been in an unreported accident. That inspection went well with only one issue reported that a bolt was missing in an awkward place but there was no evidence that the car had been in an accident. The findings were reported to the Liberty team so they could incorporate the bolt situation into their preparations/certification process. Once the car was in my possession I encountered odd handling in the steering and front end of the car with excessive ‘road noise’. The service department was now my contact to Liberty. While there were multiple visits and mechanical replacement resolutions to each different issue the concerns I had were all valid concerns and there were many things that needed to be repaired/replaced. Both Jason and Craig in the Service Department were professional and supportive of the struggles and frustrations I was experiencing. Every time I brought the car back a new part was ordered and replaced. I was always given a loaner car so the time my car was in the shop didn’t impact my everyday life. It took a lot of persistence over the last seven months or so, and more time driving a loaner car than my own, to get to where we are today. I picked up my car about four days ago and think the issues have been resolved. My mixed review really is because I think companies make their staff go through hoops to truly fix problems. I haven’t bought a used car in a very long time and went the ‘no haggle, higher purchase price’ route with Liberty because they sold me on their attention to detail related to selling high level certification of their used car inventory. I was asked more than once by sales people over the months in and out of the dealership ‘maybe it’s time to get you into a new car’ and when I would respond that I already bought a car from them this year they laughed it off. Once I was told ‘oh yeah that’s a COVID car, there are issues’. Liberty is very lucky they have the guys in their service department because if they weren’t as accommodating I would have a very different review to share.”

“I had a great experience buying a certified pre-owned car at Liberty Mazda and subsequently getting my car serviced. Nick was really helpful and the buying process simple. They didn’t use high pressure sales tactics like I had experienced at other dealerships and the car I was interested in was the most competitively priced option I could find in the state. Lastly, the people in the service department took great care of my car and were very communicative. They also went the extra mile by cleaning the interior, returning it in better shape than when I dropped it off.”
