“My grandson hit a deer and all airbags were deployed, insurance totaled truck which was a 2015 Chevy Silverado with low miles, mint condition. It was devastating as it was my late husbands and he left it to my grandson. We know what price we’re getting and started looking for replacement, grandson didn’t want to cause me extra expense and was trying to find truck for amt we were getting, found one in right price range , low miles but was a Colorado not Silverado. We drove over two hours to look at truck at Carwise in Gurnee. He drove it and decided to take but we’re not getting insurance check for couple weeks, so we made a $500 deposit. We got home and he became upset and said it’s not the same as papas and he wants to look for Silverado clear to home.phoned salesman we dealt with, a William S. Who had informed us at visit he was a pastor, he would not allow me to talk to manager, said they wouldn’t deal with this on a Saturday and their policy is no refund!!! I signed no papers and notified him within 48. Hrs of change of mind, he went on to say I agreed to buy and more or less too bad. I’ve been told by lawyer and other dealers I called on policies and everyone told me they have to give me back my money , my next step will be to contact attorney general to file claim, people be sure and careful dealing with this company and NO I wasn’t told no refunds at time if changed mind. I live on social security raising my grandsons and cannot afford to lose $500. I’ve never heard of such a thing and no one else has either. So again be sure when dealing with this business. Oh and salesman sent me message after talking to me to question if they had Silverado he’d be interested in , really why would I deal with you again??. I just received phone call from Lenny who was very nice and understandings and agreed to refund my deposit. He texted me copy of refund , it doesn’t show in my acct yet but assures me it will. I’m grateful for his kindness. Today I received my deposit back in my account. I want to thank Lenny for his kindness and understanding. Thank you so much , I appreciate it.”
