ā€œTo Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this formal complaint against the car dealership located at 1110 US-9, Queensbury, NY 12804, regarding the sale of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that I purchased less than four months ago. Since the date of purchase, I have experienced ongoing mechanical failures, unsafe conditions, and repeated misrepresentations by the dealership, none of which have been resolved despite multiple promises. Shortly after purchase, I discovered numerous serious issues with the vehicle, including but not limited to: • Incorrect shocks installed • Incorrect brake pads installed • Alternator failure, despite being told it was inspected and/or replaced • Transmission warning light illuminated • Additional mechanical issues that were explicitly represented as ā€œfixedā€ but were not Most concerning, the vehicle was issued a New York State inspection sticker that would not legitimately pass inspection. It appears the inspection was conducted improperly or fraudulently, as the vehicle is not roadworthy under NYS standards. I returned the vehicle to the dealership at the end of October, at which time they promised in writing and verbally to repair all defects. To date, nothing has been properly fixed. I am now trapped in a situation where I am forced to make $750 monthly payments on a vehicle that is unsafe, unreliable, and falling apart—while also being expected to pay out of pocket for repairs that the dealership agreed to handle. This financial burden is unsustainable and unjust. The vehicle is still within New York State Lemon Law eligibility, yet the dealership refuses to honor it. Their refusal to repair, replace, or repurchase the vehicle constitutes bad-faith business practices and possible consumer fraud. Additionally, I am not the only consumer experiencing these issues. There are numerous similar complaints reflected in the dealership’s Google reviews, demonstrating a clear pattern of selling defective vehicles, misrepresenting repairs, and ignoring customers once the sale is complete. At the current rate, this vehicle will likely fail its next New York State inspection, as repairs were never legitimately completed and parts were improperly installed. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle, nor do I feel the dealership has acted honestly or responsibly at any point during this process. I am requesting BBB assistance to: 1. Hold the dealership accountable for selling an unsafe vehicle 2. Require them to honor the Lemon Law and/or written repair agreements 3. Prevent further consumers from being subjected to similar treatment I am prepared to provide documentation, service records, inspection evidence, and communications upon request. ā€œAdam c is the man he will get you approved and in a Beautiful ride takes time but he will get you in a new ride no matter what the situation is he was really helpful got me into a truck around my budget and we made it happen can’t think him enough I would go back in a heart beat if I ever wanted to trade in another vehicle they are respect and understand everyone situation and will do there best to make you the best deal. ā€œI can’t say enough about Adam C I got in an accident on the Northway a tractor trailer came in my lane and side swiped me. My son told me about Adam C and the Carshoppe. I didn’t even have to go into the shop at first it was as if Adam knew what I needed. I seen a video he sent me I went in to see the Kia in person that night. I test drove the vehicle and was signing the paperwork before I even left. I was super nervous, but Adam made me feel so comfortable and at ease. 4 days later and here we are. I’m driving home with a vehicle already not even a week after my accident. I could go on and on like I said, I just can’t say enough about Adam and his service.
