“If I could leave more than 5 I would. I honestly never leave Google reviews, but Layla absolutely deserves one. She was probably the best sales agent I’ve ever worked with. From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly professional, patient, and genuine. She’s not your ordinary sales person What really stood out to me was that she never pressured me into buying anything. She truly didn’t care whether I bought a car that day or not she just wanted to make sure I was comfortable, understood everything, and got the right deal. That level of honesty and transparency is extremely rare when buying a car. I actually drove 45 minutes just to come here, and it was 100% worth it. “I was in the market for a Tahoe, I spoke to 14 different dealerships prior and most of them made no effort to earn my business. I came across Dupage Chrysler and spoke to David on the phone. He was very helpful and answered all my annoying questions. He followed up the next day to make sure I was moving forward with the purchase. Then the General Manager. Tom called me and made sure I was satisfied and ready to buy their Tahoe. My experience with them was so good that I literally drove from St Louis, MO all the way to Chicago (5 hour drive) to buy this vehicle from them. I have worked in the Automotive Industry for almost 17 years now and trust me when I tell ya: Their prices are fair They will bend backwards to earn your business They are direct, honest, and transparent about everything in regards to the vehicle and any fees and guidelines. “I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee to DuPage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for a simple issue — the check engine light was on, and sometimes the engine wouldn’t start. The car drove perfectly otherwise. What followed was one of the worst, most stressful experiences I’ve ever had. After dropping it off, I was told there were no loaners available but I’d get one in a week or two. A week later, I was told they diagnosed a transmission issue and ordered a new transmission, which made no sense because the Jeep was driving perfectly fine. Then they said the transmission was on backorder. A month later, it was replaced — and suddenly they said the engine also needed to be replaced because it started “knocking.” I had no vehicle for over a month and still no loaner. When they finally gave me one — a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica with almost 100,000 miles — it was unsafe: bald tires, shaky brakes, and a rearview camera that worked only sometimes. In the rain, the vehicle slid like it was on ice. Communication was awful. My service advisor Chris ignored my calls, and I never got a call back from a manager despite multiple messages. Every time I spoke with someone, I got a different story. After nearly five months, I finally got my Jeep back. Within minutes of leaving, the vehicle lost power while merging into traffic, putting me in danger. The next day, I heard a loud bang near the rear wheel and later discovered multiple loose bolts underneath, including ones holding the hybrid battery plate — a serious safety hazard. The following day, at 60 mph, it lost power again and I had to pull over on the highway. Roadside assistance only offered to tow it to the nearest dealer, which had a three-month wait for a loaner. I paid extra to tow it to Ziegler Chrysler Jeep, where I immediately saw what real service looks like. They were honest, professional, and explained everything clearly. They tightened the bolts for free and discovered DuPage failed to perform a crucial hybrid recall update that controls communication between the battery and engine. They performed the recall, tested the car, and it seemed fine — until the same issue happened again that day. Ziegler found that DuPage had improperly serviced the transmission, misdiagnosed the valve body, and didn’t fill the transmission fluid to the correct level, causing the car to stall and go into limp mode. When Ziegler called DuPage, they refused to cover the diagnosis or repair. The Jeep was towed back to DuPage again. I got a Dodge Durango loaner this time, which was better, but after two more weeks, they said the Jeep was “fixed.” When I picked it up: • My hybrid charging cable was missing and never replaced. • The Jeep had hail damage from sitting outside for months (over $2700 I paid out of pocket). • Three bolts were still missing under the car. • They refused to take responsibility for anything, saying the hail was “mother nature.” I was told the total cost of warranty work was over $35,000, yet I received my Jeep back unsafe, damaged, and unreliable. This dealership shows a complete lack of professionalism, safety, and accountability. Their negligence could have caused an accident, put me in dangerous situations. I lost months of time, money, and trust - can’t express how much stress! Ziegler Chrysler Jeep deserves credit for being honest and competent. DuPage CDJR, however, should be investigated by Jeep/Stellantis corporate for their service practices and disregard for customer safety. Avoid this dealership at all costs. My experience was unsafe, dishonest, and completely unacceptable.”
