“We were in the market for a used economical vehicle for our son while he is in college. I found a vehicle that fit this description on the Toyota of Gastonia website so we decided to go to the dealership to look at it in person. We were met by Greg Johnson when we walked in. He was SUPER NICE! I showed him the car we were interested in, on my phone, and he quickly retrieved it for us. It was a 2022 Kia Forte and it looked AMAZING and had super low mileage, so we requested to take it for a test drive. We knew instantly this was the car for us. Greg was so awesome to work with. He was so professional and knowledgeable. He was able to get the price that we needed as well. The entire experience from start to finish was courteous, professional, quick, and totally stress-free! I highly recommend Toyota of Gastonia and especially their phenomenal salesman, Greg Johnson. Thank you for providing us with excellent service. We will definitely be back for our car buying needs.”

“We just bought a Land Cruiser from this dealership and had an amazing experience! Jordan was our sales person and he was very good about communicating expected arrival of the Land Cruiser and sending pictures when it got there! He did an excellent job explaining all the details to us and we will definitely buy from him again! Kelly was our finance guy and he was awesome as well! Both very personable! They both made the experience of buying a car enjoyable! Thank you guys!”

“I have documentation and receipts to support everything stated here. In April of last year, Devin worked on my truck, including the water pump, alternator, and brakes. The work was not done correctly and resulted in ongoing issues that caused me to miss work. I had to bring the vehicle back three separate times before the problem was finally resolved. More recently, about two weeks ago, I had Josh complete front-end work, including new shocks, upper and lower control arms, and related components. After only two days of driving, I had to bring the truck back again, resulting in another missed day of work. I was required to wait in the lobby for four hours during the second visit, and no rental vehicle was offered, which would have at least allowed me to continue working. This repair cost approximately $6,000, and I am still hearing concerning noises from the front end, leading me to believe further issues may arise. I’m not even going to raise hell about the $185 diagnostic fee even though Toyota you were doing the work!!! Based on my repeated experiences, I would not recommend this shop for anyone needing major repairs. I’m sorry a 20 dollar coupon, and a tank of gas doesn’t fix those problems Scott, that’s the service manager. Photo 1:is Devin’s work to from doing water pump, alternator etc. Photo 2: is broken components and wiring destroyed the day after Devin had the work done, he wanted me to keep shut about. Photo 3: is the last time cost and headache from Josh, which lied to me a few times but I’m used to that this location.”

“Great staff - The staff at Toyota of Gastonia are truly great. A special thank you to Eddie Odum in Services—he is thorough, communicative, and always professional. I also want to thank the Service Director (sorry I didn’t catch his name). Even though my interaction with him was brief, he made me feel genuinely cared for as a customer. I did have to remove one star for two reasons: 1. Loaner Policy They don’t provide a loaner vehicle unless your service takes more than 8 hours, which feels unreasonable - especially after purchasing a high-end Toyota van. I was told this is Toyota’s policy, not the dealership’s, but it still affects the customer experience. I arrived right after the service center opened and was the first of two cars, yet I still left around 12:40 PM close to a 5-hour wait. A courtesy vehicle would have made a big difference. They do have onsite rentals, which is convenient, but customers generally expect loaners for anything over a couple of hours. 2. No Car Wash It would be great if the dealership offered a complimentary wash with service. Many dealerships include this, and it adds a nice finishing touch. On the positive side, the waiting area is clean and comfortable, with vending machines and a nice coffee machine, which is definitely a plus. Decent wifi, if you want to work from there. Overall, still a good experience - with excellent staff. I hope Toyota considers updating its loaner policy to match the level of service customers expect today.”

“I had a great experience in buying my Grand Highlander Hybrid, from the attention to communication before arriving on the lot, to the conversations leading up to coming in, provided a fair price on my trade in. The salesperson I worked with (Adolfo) was very professional, easy to talk to, work with and his knowledge on the process was flawless. The F&I manager (Kelly) was all business and organized…something else I liked was the dealership gave a memory card with the documentation which was another example of how well run this dealership is. Don’t have any pictures to share, but plan on adding some upon my return to have a trailer hitch installed. 5 stars, easily! Good job team. Update: brought my new vehicle in for the tow package to be installed, however, the service department didn’t have me in the system and had no idea about being scheduled to have my tow package installed, while waiting to work things out, the porter crashed my new car. (Really bad) so much it wasn’t drivable. The dealership stepped up, got me into a new replacement rental while they searched for a brand new replacement. They found a replacement and are doing what they have to to make me happy and satisfied…I understand, accidents happen, in the meantime, lots of trouble on my part transferring my XM radio, NC Quick Pass an auto insurance twice! Many duplicate conversations and explanation required to change to the new (2nd) vehicle…I’m hoping upon taking possession of the new vehicle they will do something for me for my troubles.”
