“Buying a vehicle can be stressful, but our experience at CarMax was the complete opposite thanks to Donna and the rest of the team. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Donna was incredibly attentive and noticed details most people would overlook. She spotted a few chips in the windshield of the truck we were purchasing and immediately put in an order with Safelite so CarMax could replace it—before we even had to ask. She also helped us with our upcoming purchase of another truck and made sure everything was in motion for that one as well. What really impressed us was how proactive she was. The truck we had reserved for our next purchase needed new tires and a few minor repairs, and Donna caught all of that before we even had a chance to see it. She made sure those items were submitted for repair so the vehicle would be in perfect condition when we came back. Throughout the entire process, Donna was open, transparent, and explained everything clearly. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about both the customer and the quality of the vehicles they’re selling, but she absolutely does. The manager even came out to congratulate us and help with the next purchase, which made the experience feel even more personal and appreciated. It was refreshing to have a true no‑haggle buying experience where we felt respected, informed, and confident in our purchase. CarMax—and especially Donna—made this one of the best car‑buying experiences we’ve ever had.”

“Got a Carmax offer online for a used vehicle with a few issues. Meticulously documented all these issues on their system, to receive the offer. Took their offer into their office an hour each way, and the (very polite) sales rep in Gulfport thought the vehicle was actually in better shape than what I had indicated. Waited a short period of time, and then received a humiliating low ball offer well below what their "own system" stated the vehicle was worth. I asked the agent why it was so low, and was told it had an engine light and some body damage. I told him that information was already put in the system to get the offer, and was told their was nothing he could do. There would be "no negotiations". I didn't accept the embarrassing offer and left. Wasted half of a day. No more Carmax.”
