“I recently purchased a Bronco Outer Banks from Car Source Auto this past Saturday. Overall, the experience was mixed. My salesman, Hunter, was not overly pushy, which I appreciated. All of the staff I interacted with were polite and professional, and that made the process more comfortable. However, I do have several complaints. Before driving all the way from Virginia to Ohio, we agreed on an out-the-door price of $35,000. When I arrived, I was told the price had been increased by $500, and there was very little willingness to negotiate after the fact. That was frustrating, especially after making such a long trip based on a prior agreement. The vehicle itself was also disappointing at delivery. The Bronco was very dirty, had only about 10% oil life remaining, and was given to me with almost no gas in the tank. It also needs the window wipers replaced. When I brought this up, Hunter said he would provide a gas card, but I was only given $12, even though it takes roughly $60 to fill the tank. The listing said it had 55,000 thousand miles but when I arrived it has 57,500 thousand. While I’m happy with the Bronco itself and the staff was friendly, the pricing change, lack of vehicle prep, and minimal effort to make things right took away from what should have been an exciting purchase experience.”
