“Great experience. Jeremy in sales on the phone the night before to dicuss the car and appointment. Jeff Baker in sales was great. Had the car pulled up and ready for us to see. Josh (Sales Manager) was no nonsense and made negotiation easy as pie! Luke in finance was very efficient. We only spent less than 2 hours from the time we walked in until we drove away. We appreciate all of the professionalism. Made the process very easy! Everyone was very friendly. Thanks a bunch to all of you guys!!”

“Initially started an inquiry for a few used cars for my teenage daughter who I was looking to purchase a car. Stopped into Byers Chevy after chatting with Kody in the used car department and ended up buying a 2018 Chevy Volt.
Kody was very supportive and up front during the whole process and has checked in with me post purchase. Byers definitely made a supporter out of me.
Thank you Kody for helping find a wonderful car.”

“My car buying experience from the very beginning was very professional. Austin was just amazing with his customer service and was very knowledgeable whenever I had a question. They make you feel like family over at Byers and I would recommend my family and friends to this dealership and of course I will tell them to ask for Austin!”

“I was in the process of finding a new work truck for myself and I landed here due to their selection of trucks. Because of my past experiences, I’m not eager to go car shopping. The way that the salesmen try to get you to buy something when it might not be what you really want, just the feeling of being another customer to them instead of trying to help me find the perfect vehicle. Not only that, but I have been met with very rude and pushy people at other dealerships like Bobby layman and Ricart. I’m mentioning this all to say, this dealership was the complete opposite. I purchased a 6 year old truck and they made me feel like I was purchasing a brand new truck. With full transparency, there was something wrong with the seals in the front end, but when I brought it up, it was immediately dealt with and they took care of it with no questions asked. Brett and Jimmy went out of their way, multiple times to meet my requests. Alongside them, Ben in finance was delightful to deal with, it made actually purchasing the truck a little easier. My entire experience at this dealership was professional, clean, and straightforward which I appreciate in a dealership.”

“Great same day shopping and purchasing of a 2013 Navigator with Brett McConnaughey. Allowed my partner to bring the vehicle back to Granville for me to check out while I was working. Able to pick it up after work that night. Quick easy process appreciate his willingness to work with us.
Luke Flowers - finance instructor made it super easy to complete paperwork and get on the way home. Like Brett expressed appreciation for me and others who are nurses. Felt like Byers took care of us well again. Typically we have purchased Subaru from Byers, however, being able to go to a different dealership within their family and having the same great experience was awesome.
Austin Needham - super nice young guy. Held the door open for my father (the man that was driving my Mustang home for me while I drove the SUV home was playing up the old man on a cane schtick). Took time to chat with my dad about cars as he is Mr. automotive and needed entertained while I completed my paperwork.
Update 9/26/25: horrible service experience. Multiple trips. Fake apologies. No compensation for gas and stupidity that we went through. Great that they fixed the brakes, but had they put the brakes on correctly. The first time we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
Update 9/29/25: five star review returned only for the finance and sales team. Luc In-service gets the five star as he seems to be the only confident one. Still irritated about the entire service experience. Spoke to the general sales manager, for the dealership absolutely had no clue and kept telling us things that were not. Repeatedly telling us that the back brakes were 7 mm was not the issue. The issue was that the brakes were installed incorrectly, the first time. Lots of waste of time and trips back to the Because we didn’t listen to the customer. No compensation for the amount of gas that we use going back-and-forth. Clearly didn’t listen to myself, my partner, or my father when we explained the situation. So sales people are great, finance people are great, Luc in service great. Happy to be done. Finally nice to drive our new used navigator without squealing brakes. Shame that it only took two weeks to fix. May not seem like a lot but when you purchase something and it sounds horrible when you’re driving and it smells like it’s burning It ruins the rest of the experience. And then to quote policies to us because you didn’t do things correctly the first time ruins the experience. Five stars only so it doesn’t penalize the people that actually were effective. It’s really a shame that nobody took actual ownership or it clearly explained what was going on or what had happened. And then to tell us that you’re getting the best brakes to put on tells us that you put crappy ones on to start with which led to this So why not use the best product to start with then you have awesome excellent customer experience experiences overall. So because things weren’t done correctly, the first time we got new front brakes twice and rear brakes that we didn’t really need but hey, we’ll take free brakes.
Lastly, it’s still a load of BS that we had to put gas in the vehicle during the test drive and then we didn’t even get a full tank when buying the vehicle and then we wasted so much gas going back-and-forth because they didn’t have the parts in stock but kept scheduling appointments for us. This is the first time this has happened ever purchasing a vehicle new or used where we didn’t get a tank of gas prior to departing the dealership.”
