I waited a while before writing this review because I wanted to make sure I was calm and objective about the experience. Unfortunately, this was the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. On May 6, 2026, I purchased a used 2025 Volkswagen Atlas from Grubb’s Acura after a test drive with Kelly. During the walkaround, I was shown minor dents and scratches and was told the service department could remove or buff them out before delivery. During the test drive, the tire pressure light was also on, but I was told it just needed time to reset. The same day I drove the vehicle home, the check engine light came on and the tire pressure light stayed on. I contacted Kelly immediately, and I brought the vehicle back the next day for service. I was told my car would be prioritized and ready around the middle of the following week. Instead, my vehicle stayed in service for nearly two weeks with very little communication unless I reached out first. Eventually, I was told Volkswagen had to order parts for the check engine issue. After more delays, I was finally notified on May 19 that the vehicle was ready. The delivery experience was also frustrating. The valet arrived over an hour later than scheduled, and when I received the vehicle it was still in poor condition. The white markings used to circle scratches and dents were still visible on the paint, the scratches had not been properly corrected, and the interior still had grease smudges and dirt I had already pointed out previously. The vehicle also appeared not to have been washed or detailed at all. What upset me most was that the car had over 100 additional miles added during service, and the full tank of gas I left it with was now half empty. I live only 16 miles from the dealership, so this was concerning. When I raised these concerns, I felt like I received excuses instead of accountability. I eventually spoke with the service manager, Omar, who apologized and offered to have the vehicle cleaned again, but by that point I had lost trust in the service department and declined. I ended up paying for my own detailing service afterward. The sales experience itself was fine initially, but the post-sale service, communication, and condition of the vehicle completely ruined the experience for me. I would strongly caution anyone considering a used vehicle purchase from this dealership. I have the LoJack app and was able to confirm they used my vehicle to run errands while it was supposedly in the shop being serviced. See images.

Reached after setting up an appointment to look at a car for my daughter. Was supposed to meet up with Ivan but met Justin. We were told that car is upfront and ready, it took 25 mins to find the car and they got the car in a very very dirty condition, not even worth sitting in let alone riding. Justin tried explaining they only got the car a few days ago and so it wasnt cleaned. I asked to see Ivan and Justin said he was not available. Some very very arrogant gentleman called Nick came and basically said "So YOU are upset coz the car is dirty"... so matter of factly, no respect whatsoever. Almost an insulting, condascending tone infront of the family. I said Im upset coz you wasted our time. Then started saying you are raising your voice and walked off...Wonder how they sell premium cars with those customer service ethics!!!! NEVER GRUBBS!! Pictures are the actual car which they "got ready and pulled upfront"!!

My experience at Grubbs Acura was great with the sales person showing me cars that I was interested and not interested in for perspective (Anaxeli Davila). The beginning process was great up until the financing. I feel the financing process was a bit over complicated and initially unfair. I’d understand if I wasn’t interested and/or my credit wasn’t exceptional. After difficult process the financing team did understand and at the end we ended up making a good deal that both parties ended up happy. I bought my car and I am currently loving it! Highly recommend the dealership however do understand it might be a long process but in the end it’ll be good. Keep your head up and go get that car!

Update: 3/16 Once my car is completed I will update and share. I still feel stressed but in a sense I feel like it might be on the right path now at least in making this right. We shall see. Update: unlesa your a mechanic dont buy used. I went today picked up the warranty paperwork that was never given to me. But they wanted to still state im responsible for a repair that has been an issue from the beginning and im sure sense before i bought it. And trying to get ahold of the owner of this company or someone that i can report these issues to is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. I left once again with a broken car. No answers..... I am still awaiting solutions regarding the car I recently purchased outright. It continues to have mechanical issues. I have had a loaner vehicle for a longer period than I have had the car I purchased. Some matters were addressed as I had to return the vehicle due to overlooked or ignored issues before its delivery. I also paid for its delivery, as I was informed that "if she agrees to that price, we will deliver." During the time it was back at this establishment i was not updated. No updates in portal link till AFTER I recently spoke to the mechanic. An alignment was then stated and notated needed. Which was never told to me while in their possession so at the time they had the vehicle I could have paid for it to be done while with them NOR did they fix this issue AS IT WAS RECENTLY BOUGHT and should have been done at that presale inspection along with other things that weren't done. Which FORD as I took it to be looked at separately, it was found to have bad motor mounts as when driving the vehicle lunges and staggers. Despite direct communication between the Ford and Grubbs mechanics, I have not yet received an update regarding the next steps. I recently acquired this vehicle, and it has been in the dealership's possession for a longer duration than it has been in mine since the purchase. These issues should have been documented on the sales sheet or disclosed during the vehicle inspection, neither of which occurred. The vehicle was presented as meeting high standards on paper. During our initial viewing, while the vehicle was being serviced on a lift, the mechanic assured us it was an excellent, well-maintained car. Currently, my attempts to communicate via email, text, and phone calls have gone unanswered. While I appreciate the efforts made thus far, these issues should have been rectified before the vehicle was listed for sale or, at the very least, noted at the time of signing or on the sales agreement. I am still awaiting solutions and am experiencing considerable anxiety while driving. Although the Grubbs mechanic informed me that despite the car's lunging and observed play, "IT'S NOT GOING TO STRAND YOU," I remain concerned. I strongly advise prospective buyers to conduct thorough inspections. It is important to remember that purchasing a used vehicle does not diminish one's value compared to purchasing a new one. Hard-earned money, whether it's $5,000, $10,000, or $20,000, represents significant value to buyers. I invested $23,000 in this vehicle, and I am unable to fully enjoy it due to concerns that minor issues, which should have been identified and addressed during the establishment's ownership, may worsen and lead to a breakdown. I'm hoping and praying that this dealership corrects these mechanical issues and I can update to leave a better review. Again these may be small complaints but i shouldn't be having to have them so early on in possessing it. I emailed recently and stated I would fill gas tank, could they come and pick it up as we are going out of town Friday. They could drive it back to dealership and maybe notice what we are noticing and diagnosis it. I know they can pick up and deliver because they done so while I had a loaner. Im just trying to show or share with them or give the ability and time yet again for them to correct something rhat should have been corrected before sale/purchase. I have still not heard or gotten anything STILL.

Purchased a 2026 MDX, this was our second time purchasing at Grubbs Acura. Overall, great experience both times. This time around it was an out of town sale via phone/online. Salesman Malik was excellent, he worked with us to get us the deal we wanted. Malik was very helpful he kept in contact and answers all our questions and concerns, he even worked out the logistics of having our new vehicle shipped and trade in picked up. Smooth process from sale, to trade in, to financing. I would recommend Grubbs dealership for your next vehicle purchase.
