“Test drove a truck Thursday and had a few kinks that needed to be fixed. Had been in contact with Brian (great guy during this situation). They agreed to fix the few things and so we were waiting on it to get done in the shop before signing papers. If it would have been ready on Saturday we would have signed it then but they needed til Monday to get it fixed. Husband was on shift Monday so couldn’t get off til Tuesday morning to sign them. The finance guy said that was fine. They ran credit and we had already looked at all the numbers. Monday evening (while Brian was off) a person came in to hand in a check and the floor manager approved it even though we had numbers done and all we had to do was go in and sign. Brian was very apologetic but the used car floor manager could not have cared less about selling that truck out from under us. They have lost our business for good (which I’m sure that floor manager could care less about) The manager was the one to sell it and couldn’t give the sales person or us a courtesy call until it was already out the door and gone. The manager also told Brian that he didn’t care that it was bad for business selling it out from under us. So loyalty to and from customers is not the floor managers interest.”
