“I rarely write negative reviews, but this was one of the most frustrating new car purchase experiences I’ve had.
I purchased a brand new 2026 Toyota Sienna XSE from this dealership. During the negotiation, the salesman initially agreed to a $1,000 discount over the text. However, when it came time to finalize the paperwork, I was suddenly told that discount was no longer possible and after further discussion, the salesman ultimately applied only a $500 discount. At that point I decided to move forward anyway in good faith since we had already spent significant time on the purchase.
Within days of taking delivery, the driver-side kick sensor for the power liftgate did not work. I contacted the salesman to report the issue and the only response I received was “ok got it.” I later had to spend about four hours round-trip going back to the dealership for diagnosis. The explanation I was given was that the key fob had “low voltage,” which is surprising considering the vehicle is a brand new 2026 model.
Unfortunately, the situation became even more frustrating afterwards. I picked up a screw in my tire and went to America Tire for a simple repair. However, we could not remove the wheel because the wheel lock key was missing from the wheel lock bag. I understand the wheel lock may have been in the vehicle, but the issue is that its location was never explained during delivery. The wheel lock bag only contained replacement information, so when I went to the tire shop we could not find the key. Because we could not locate the key at that time, the tire could not be repaired. Shortly after, the tire went completely flat and had to be replaced.
I contacted Toyota corporate for assistance and was told the dealership would contact me by March 2. No one from the dealership reached out. Only after contacting corporate again did someone finally call me back.
When I eventually spoke with the GM about the entire situation the change in pricing in last minute, the lack of communications, a weak key fob battery that immediately affects functionality, the wasted time, and the tire replacement. the only resolution offered was a single oil change worth about $90.
For a brand new vehicle purchase, this level of follow-up and customer care was extremely disappointing. I gave the dealership multiple opportunities to address the situation before leaving this review, but the final response did not reflect the level of accountability I expected.
I hope management takes situations like this more seriously in the future, especially when it involves a brand new vehicle purchase.

I appreciate the acknowledgement, but the concern is not simply about sharing feedback. It is about reaching a fair resolution for the situation.
If management believes there is a different resolution that more appropriately reflects the time, inconvenience, and expenses caused by the issues described above, you already have my contact information in your system and are welcome to reach out to me directly.
At this point, I believe the dealership should contact the customer rather than asking the customer to initiate further communication again.
If there is no further follow-up or reasonable resolution by Monday March 9,2026, I will proceed with escalating the matter through the Better Business Bureau and the California DMV consumer complaint process so the situation can be formally reviewed.”

Our salesman Alfred Gallegos was super professional and convinced us right away on getting the car we liked. “My daughter and I had a pleasant experience with Toyota of Glendora, specifically with the salesman, Beto Rojas. Friendly man. He made us feel very comfortable right from the start. Beto and his supervisor were easy to work with, and so I felt their willingness to adjust to my offers and made the whole buying experience swift and to the point. This is the 2nd car we purchased from Toyota of Glendora. With the experience we received today, I will surely return and recommend them.”
