About five years ago, I bought a car from Subaru of Gainesville and it’s been the best choice I could have made. Their sales staff was helpful and after many experiences with the service staff, I can tell you that they are all rock stars. Not only are they incredibly professional and smart, they are also really kind and genuine people. I want to say thank you to all the men and women working at the service counters and in the garage. You have always been wonderful with my car and with me.

I purchased a used 2021 Subaru from Honda of Gainesville a year ago and had my first oil change done with them. It was a basic service but included everything I expected, fluid top offs, a multipoint inspection, and a courtesy car wash. Since I now own a Subaru, I wanted to keep future maintenance with the brand and decided to have my second oil change done at Subaru of Gainesville. The check in process was smooth. The women at the service desk were friendly and provided great customer service. The lobby was clean and comfortable, and one of the employees even let my 8 year old help restock the free (and surprisingly healthy) snacks, which he really enjoyed. I brought my Outback in for an oil change, which should have included fluid top offs and a courtesy wash. Checkout was quick and easy, and I liked that the multi point inspection was sent digitally. When we picked up our vehicle, I immediately noticed that the windshield washer fluid had not been topped off, the dashboard light was still on. At that point, our 3 week old was crying and our 8 year old was ready to go, so although I wanted to turn around, my husband said he’d just refill it at home. The next day, he checked the fluids and discovered the coolant hadn’t been topped off either. He called Subaru and spoke with someone in the service department, but the response he got made it seem like they didn’t really care about the oversight. This service cost us $165, and none of the fluids were topped off as promised.

Outstanding Experience at Subaru of Gainesville It is say that The General Manager (Freddy Gonzalez) sets the tone for professionalism and customer care, making sure everything runs smoothly and that customers feel truly valued. This is so true for this Subaru Dealer. From The finance team that was knowledgeable (Anthony Landers) transparent, and efficient. He took the time to explain every detail clearly, answered all my questions, and made the process straightforward and stress-free — no pressure, just honesty. A special thank-you to the sales associate (Allan Rivera) , who was outstanding. Attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful, by the way EXCELLENT LISTENER, he made sure I found exactly what I was looking for (Subaru Outback Wilderness) and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience and Target PRICE. Which was the main reason I took the Red Coach out Miami to get my target price.. But at the end I found a non-Typical old school shark 🦈 Infected industry (As a professional and consumer, IT IS SAD that South Florida is infected by these kind of mind set).. The whole team, gave me an experience of servitud and not a sales tactis.. KUDOS FOR SUBARU OF GAINESVILLE.. If you are in the market for a Subaru, joing me to bring them business..

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received at this Subaru dealership. When I bought my car, the fog lights weren’t working — and part of my decision to purchase the vehicle from subaru of gainesville was based on their assurance that this would be properly fixed as part of the deal. I trusted an OEM Subaru dealership to repair it the right way. They told me it was “fixed” after i brought it back to them, but two years later, when the bumper was removed for the first time respray from a small dent, I found out what they actually did. Instead of replacing anything with proper OEM parts, they butchered the wiring, spliced and soldered everything together, and even ripped the clips off the fog light housings to force the lights to work. The entire setup was hacked together in a completely non-OEM, unsafe, and unprofessional way. No real technician or reputable dealership would ever consider this acceptable — and it creates a genuine fire risk. To repair their shortcut “fix,” I now have to pay over $1,000 out of pocket, all for something they promised would be handled correctly when I bought the car. Needs new fog light assemblies (both sides) and wiring. If this is how they perform electrical and lighting repairs, I highly recommend never bringing your vehicle here for any service. I will also be posting photos so customers can see exactly how shady and dangerous the workmanship was. Go somewhere honest and professional.
