“Thought I got a great deal on a used truck, found it on car gurus, price was different than advertised, worked that out and nothing seemed to off. Took nearly a month after I paid cash for them to get the title and register it, after which I had to pay for the uber ride back to have it delivered to me because I had work, and later, I found out the truck was painted and likely in an accident from a detailer who noticed basically right away, I called the salesman to ask, he basically played dumb, and said “oh I might vaguely recall that”, and then wouldn’t give me the Carfax on it because it’s “no longer in their inventory” whatever that means. I guess it’s my fault for not asking every question and remembering to ask for a carfax in the beginning, I just trusted and expected a dealership like this to divulge all pertinent information on their own, now I know.”
