“Brought my car into Toyota of Fox Lake expecting bad news... and got it blown head gasket. But thankfully I had purchased the extended warranty when I bought the car, and WOW am I glad I did.
What could have been about a $6,000
repair ended up being covered.
The service team walked me through everything, kept me updated, and got the repair handled without making the process stressful. It's not every day you're happy about a head gasket replacement, but the way they handled it made a huge difference.
If you're on the fence about the extended warranty... take it from someone who just dodged a $6k bullet — it paid for itself right there. Thanks to the team at Toyota of Fox Lake for taking care of it!”

“After days of correspondence with a saleswoman we were offered a car, then completely ghosted until it was sold to someone else. Spoke to the general manager hoping we could straighten out the situation, he refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing and just kept trying to sell us a different car for even more money. We respectfully expressed our frustration and were met with complete disregard for our unprofessional treatment and wasted time. Don't work with this dealership unless you want false offers from slimy salesmen and even slimier general managers.”

“As a young woman shopping for a car, I’m naturally cautious. Too often dealerships assume I lack knowledge and can be easily persuaded. That is absolutely not the case. I have no issue saying no or walking away if I am not heard, feel something is off, or being pressured.
I spent nearly 3 months test driving BMW X4s and X6s to make sure I found the perfect fit, with no rush whatsoever. After multiple appointments—some of which were canceled last minute—I happened to notice that Fox Lake Toyota had exactly what I was looking for while driving home from a canceled appointment! On a whim, I called shortly before closing since I was right there, and Sydney welcomed me in without hesitation.
From the moment I arrived, the experience was refreshingly different. I was greeted by manager Juan Ortiz and assisted by Jeff Goessele, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Jeff was personable, patient, and genuinely respectful. He gave me space to think, never pressured me, and answered questions directly when I asked—something I truly appreciated after visiting so many other dealerships who pressure me or distract me while I am trying to think and review the car specs myself!
After the test drive, I shared a few concerns, including minor paint damage on the hood and the vehicle only having one key. Jeff and Juan took those concerns seriously. Not only was the paint corrected, but we also came to a fair agreement on price with the help of Juan. I arrived at 6:30 PM and left around 9:00 PM with a deal we were both happy with. Tim in financing went above and beyond—lowering my rates, clearly explaining everything, and making sure I felt heard and confident throughout the process.
Within about 24 hours, I returned to review the paint correction and drove off in my new car. Every person I interacted with took the time to listen, validate my concerns, and treat me with respect. There was genuine conversation, laughter, and a sense of teamwork that made the experience feel like more than just a transaction.
I’ve had my car for about a week now and couldn’t be happier. I’m so glad I waited and found the team at Fox Lake Toyota. Thank you, Juan, Jeff, Tim, and Sydney!”

“Abdul was great! Extremely personable and caring. He thought of me on his days off to give me updates. He thoroughly explained all the extra warranties they offered and let me decide on what I wanted to purchase. Brian was also great to talk to and very helpful. These guys have a customer for life and I highly recommend them even if you want to drop in to just take a look at what Toyota has to offer.”
