I had a very disappointing experience at CarMax. I scheduled an appointment online and drove 45 minutes to the location, expecting a smooth and professional process. Instead, when I arrived, I was dismissed at the counter and told to “check in” after already sitting there for 15 minutes. There was no acknowledgment of my scheduled appointment and no sense of urgency or respect for my time. After driving 45 minutes to get there and receiving no assistance, I ultimately had to leave and drive 45 minutes back home a total of an hour and a half wasted. Appointments should mean something. If customers take the time to schedule and show up, the least that should be provided is basic organization and courtesy. This experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Very frustrating.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Went on-line to sell my car, got a good and fair offer from CarMax, and went to CarMax Fort Worth. Really easy process, Kaylee at the business center was awesome. I got exactly what was offered on-line. In/out in less than 20 minutes cheque in hand. Staff were incredible always asking if we were being helped. This is a GREAT dealership and no-one should have any fear of being taken advantage. Well done Management on bringing a culture of honesty, integrity and kindness to a car dealership!!

CarMax is a big ripoff. I was given a bid on a car and took it for them to look at. Absolutely nothing wrong with the 2021 Dodge Charger R/T with 3391 miles on it. Octane Red with no damage, beautiful car in perfect mechancial condition. Several of the employees test drove the car. They came to me with a fictitious made up story about the transmission having a problem. They could tell because when they would start up from a dead stop they knew then it needed service. So they low balled a bid on the car. Having worked on cars for 50 years and having had my own automotive repair shop I would know if a car had a mechanical problem. Thus car is mechanically sound with no problems. So beware of CarMax.

I had a very good experience selling my truck here. My offer was over double what another dealership offered and very near the KBB value of the trade-in value. Received a preliminary offer right away through the website, made an appointment, and the entire inspection to sale process was less than an hour. The folks here were very nice and helpful through the entire process.

Special thanks goes out to Tanisha, the sales representative I dealt with in my purchase of a 2018 GMC Yukon Denali with only 68,000 mi in mint condition. This vehicle serves every purpose I need and have been on the lookout for the past few months for this particular setup with the black exterior black leather interior. So far I am loving it but still have to learn all the features of everything but overall I am satisfied. Everybody the dealership there was professional and cool and laid back and although it had been years since I purchased a car as I had not needed one due to being a truck driver I felt it was time to pull the plug and I am glad I did. It was painless and quick. Just a little treat for myself since I work so hard. Special thanks to everybody there that I met and thank you Tanisha.
