“We have been shopping for a used vehicle for the past three weeks. We visited a couple of dealerships in the Metro area but didn’t find what we were looking for, vehicle wise or service wise. While scrolling through CarSoup I stumbled across the Forest Lake Ford dealership. We live in the South Metro area so driving to Forest Lake would be a haul. But after seeing the inventory choices and pricing we decided to make the drive. I’m so glad we did. The experience we had was 5 star! The front desk lady was welcoming and courteous and our Salesman, Rick was extremely helpful, polite, pleasant, knowledgeable and was transparent. The finance guy (I’m sorry but his name is escaping me) was informative and the signing went off without a hitch. The entire transaction went so smoothly all around, I was well informed of where we were at in the process at all times. We were in and out in a very short amount of time, definitely not a typical shopping experience, but in a very good way! I recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to go to Forest Lake Ford! Oh, the facility is nice too! Thank you for the memorable experience Forest Lake Ford dealership team!”

“We recently purchased two brand-new vehicles from Forest Lake Ford, and overall our experience was positive in several ways.
Kyle, the salesperson we worked with, was absolutely wonderful. He listened to our needs, understood what we were looking for, and never came across as pushy. Working with him made the buying process smooth and comfortable, and we truly appreciated his approach.
As part of the purchase, we traded in two used vehicles. We were told by a sales manager Brad that since we were buying two new cars, they would do “all they could” or give us their “absolute best” on the trade-in values to show appreciation for our business. The initial offer came in significantly lower than we expected, which was surprising. We countered higher, and after some back-and-forth they came up to $7000 — about $1000 short of what we were hoping for. While we could have continued negotiating, we ultimately chose to move forward with the deal.
We understand dealerships are businesses and need to make money, and we were not negotiating on the prices of the new vehicles. Because of that, we had hoped the trade-in offer would feel a bit more aligned from the start rather than requiring negotiation after being told it was their “best.” It wasn’t necessarily about the money itself — it was more about expectations and wanting the process to feel straightforward and consistent with what was communicated.
In the end, we are happy with our new vehicles and grateful for the positive experience with our salesperson. Our only real wish is that the trade-in portion had felt more transparent and less back-and-forth.”

“recently had the pleasure of working with the team at Forest Lake Ford in Minnesota, and it was a genuine 10/10 experience from start to finish.
I walked in feeling a bit overwhelmed and unsure about the whole car repair process. Right away, salesperson Cade greeted me with incredible kindness and patience. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every single one of my (many!) questions, and even helped me think of important questions I hadn't considered. He truly made the process stress-free and approachable.
Cade connected me with Tom, who called me promptly to discuss the details of my car's issue. Tom was reassuring, promised a timely repair, and delivered a price that was noticeably lower than what other dealerships quoted. Best of all, they actually followed through on everything and got my car back to me quickly and perfectly fixed.
To top it all off, Lisa at the service desk reception made me smile on my way out with a perfectly timed, hilarious joke. It was the cherry on top of an already great experience!
If you're looking for honest, friendly, and efficient service, especially if you're not a car expert, head to Forest Lake Ford. Shoutout to Cade, Tom, and Lisa for making this such a positive visit. Highly recommend!”
