The hubby and I just purchased a beautiful truck from Tim Shipp up at Shea Chevrolet and it was a very smooth, and satisfying experience. He worked very well with us and our budget and got us out of there with a new truck! We are so happy!!!!

After admiring a new Traverse for weeks, I stopped in and Charles Shipp helped me get the ride I wanted. I highly recommend Applegate, as I’ve been buying from them for over 20 years and always happy with their service. Charles made the process easy and he was great to work with. Thanks Applegate and Charles!

Overall experience was excellent. From the online listing where I found exactly what I was looking for to my contact with Sales agent Charles Shipp and the Finance process with Daniel, I was treated very well.

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. The service manager, Aubrey, was great! I waited about an hour or so, which is normal. When they were bringing my truck to me, I noticed a headlight was out. This was never brought to my attention. When I got into my truck to leave, the hood open warning showed up, so the guy that drove my truck from the lift area to me didn't notice the hood open warning. And, lastly, when I brought my truck in, all tires were over 30 lbs of air, closer to 35 pounds. I guess I assumed that when they rotated my tires, they would also fill them with the proper amount of air, not let air out of them. The air that was in my tires when I left there was 30, 27, 27 and 28. I should not have had to put air in my tires when I had just had a tire rotation. I have used Applegate for many years....for service and for purchasing vehicles. I have tried to stay loyal because you are local, have been around forever and because you only carry GM vehicles. I really want to keep using Applegate for my auto needs, but it feels like in the past few years, the attention to detail has gone by the wayside. I used to always get a verbal report from the technician and a checklist of things that were looked at and may need attention, such as the headlight. Another service that is gone. The thought of having to find another dealership is not something I want to do, but it may be coming to that. To me, that is disappointing. Thank you

They have had my truck for 3 weeks now and have only received one phone call. We have had to call them to get any information or physically have gone up there. They are nice but I feel like giving a run around on issues such as, getting us a loaner vehicle. I understand the part for our truck is on back order but, my issue is I have been told different things than which have been told to my husband. We are stuck because we both work and need this loaner vehicle to be able to commute to work. I cannot afford a rental any longer. In which I was told we would get reimbursed for but, then told my husband " oh sorry I thought you had a warranty so we cannot do that" . Patience is getting very thin. I understand they may be short handed and or busy but, if you want to keep having customers who give you great reviews you will need to keep in contact with them. We try not to bug them because we know they are busy. Just keep us in the loop and understand we are stuck in a situation where we are in desperate need of a loaner vehicle until our truck can get fixed. I do understand we are not the only ones but, it's been 3 weeks now we should be in a loaner already.
