Huge shout out to the whole team and especially Kristell—she was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. ​I loved being able to ship the exact car I wanted from another location for a small fee, and the 24-hour test drive really gave me peace of mind. There was a tiny oversight with the air filters being dirty, but CarMax was great about it and replaced them. ​I’m almost 30 days into owning the car now and it’s been absolutely great. It was a super easy experience and I’d definitely buy from them again!”

“I usually never leave comments, but this was something I just can't keep to myself. I called Carmax, and scheduled an appointment to test drive a truck on Saturday, December 20, 2025. I arrived and got the run around for someone to assist. Was told salesperson waiting on a customer and could not help me. Finally got help with a nice lady. After getting all my information logged into the computer, I was approved. then told have to wait on a manager to come. He comes over and starts to tell me about fraud and because I wasn't putting any money down, it looks like a fraud situation. I was then asked to show 2 forms of Id and verbally give him my information, that was already put into the system by his worker. I've purchased many vehicles and never have I had to do this. The treatment I received from this company was not necessary. I'm sure they thought I was just another black person who couldn't afford or have the credit to purchase something. I will never do business with the organization again.”

“I went with my brother to pick up his car. He did most of the paperwork online so it was an exspress pick up. We were able to test drive and inspect the car. Throughout the process Cynthia helped him tremendously. She was very informative and polite when dealing with him. Overall this was an excellent experience. “I came into CarMax today to assist my parents in selling their car to CarMax. For the most part, CarMax is one of the places to sell you car if you do not want to go through the private seller process. If you do a trade-in at the dealer, you will not get much, but CarMax will generally give you a much higher and reasonable price on your car. As for buying a car, the prices are generally a little higher than if you shop around and haggle with a used car dealer. The price for buying a car is firm. The nice thing about buying at CarMax is that they do fully detail their cars and do full inspections/servicing of their cars prior to putting on the lot to sell. Today, we had a good experience. My sister had scheduled the appointment on the wrong day, but fortunately they weren’t busy yet and there was only 1 person ahead of us. Everyone we dealt with in this process were very nice. I did take 1 star off due to the selling process took a little longer at this location. I have sold 2 other cars personally at 2 different locations and the selling process took less steps and was a little faster. From the time they started the appraisal process to the time we got the check took about 45 minutes.”
