I don't normally leave reviews for car dealers, or anyone in general, but after the past several days of dealing with them.... I inquired with them about purchasing a new Charger they had listed online. After being contacted, I used my personal lunch break to drive out and see the car in person and get a trade-in valuation. Keep in mind, all of this was communicated at 09:00 with an arrival of 11:00. Half way there, the sales kid (yes kid) tells me the car I want to see won't start or turn on and he doesn't know how to jump the battery and service is busy "till next week" to look at it. I continue my drive there to at least get the trade-in valuation and remind him the sales person I have 15-20 minutes at most before I need to get back to work for meetings. I arrive and immediately proceed.....to wait, and wait, and wait.....and 10 minutes later the sales person I talked to appears (again, I called in advance and told him my arrival time) takes my keys to get an appraisal, and tells me he's going to pull around a similar car to the one I want. After waiting another 5 minutes, he manages to pull around an upgraded version of the car (which I'm not interested in buying). We proceed to drive to the car I want to see/buy, view it, and I commit to him that if the trade-in valuation is competitive and they can fix the car I want, I will return. We get back to the front and after 20 minutes of being there, he tells me the used car manager is "to busy" to look at my trade-in right now and could I wait longer. Again, I called ahead two hours earlier, but still, they couldn't get a valuation on my trade-in. So, I proceed back to work without a trade-in value and no commitment on when/if the car I want will be fixed That was Thursday....on Friday I text the sales person asking if there's an update on the new car and getting it fixed, after a few hours, still no answer. I text again, and email, no answer. Saturday morning I text again and finally get a brief "No" answer from the sales person regarding an ETA on repair of the new vehicle. Monday rolls around, I've since visited another Dodge dealer, and in 30 minutes (at the other dealer) got a good trade-in valuation, saw the car I wanted, AND got a one sheet done with them. I call Frisco CJDR to see if they will match as they have the car/color I want. I text, email, call, call, and call again....all day long, and FINALLY at 4PM get the new car sales on the phone who proceeds to tell me their low ball trade-in value is the best they'll do, their $3,500 in hidden fee's is non-negotiable, and they aren't going to match anywhere near close to where the other dealer is at. Mind you, this whole time, the new car sales manager has a nasty attitude so he's getting the same attitude back from me. NEVER, in all the years of buying cars (and I buy a lot) have I had to work THIS HARD to try and get a dealer to sell a car. Normally I have to fend them off when inquiring on a car and normally most are willing to work/negotiate pricing but this dealer was determined they were going to "stick it" to the customer in hidden fees, low ball offers on trade ins, and padded finance rates.

Service has been great the last few visits. This time they held my vehicle too long waiting on warranty approval. This spanned into the following week. I tried calling multiple times over the afternoon/early evening and could not get a hold of anyone in the service dept. My specific advisor had the day off, but they couldn't get me anyone to speak, all went to voicemail. Had my vehicle for 9 days, should have been closer to 5. All that being said, I'm really hoping this was a one off. Because otherwise they have been great.

As far as car buying goes, I had a good experience. My salesman, Miracle, was great. The finance guy was great. The process is still long (4 hours in all). I await the days that new car dealerships have as much transparency and a more streamlined process as Carmax.

I had a great experience at Frisco Dodge. Codie McBride, my sales rep, was extremely helpful and transparent throughout the entire process. He took the time to compare pricing and even price matched to make sure I was getting the best deal possible. The whole process was quick and smooth, I was in and out without any hassle. Codie made everything easy and straightforward, and I really appreciated his professionalism and willingness to work with me. If you’re looking for a dealership that values your time and works to get you the best price, I definitely recommend Frisco Dodge and ask for Codie McBride.

I drove in from Houston to purchase a Honda Pilot specifically from Codie because my experience with him from the beginning was valuable. I had been going between this dealership and a closer dealership regarding the same vehicle. There were very specific requirements I needed to have met but ultimately chose this one year older Honda from Codie based solely off my interaction with him. From the beginning, he made me feel like my business with him was valuable and as a woman, I feel that is a great thing since most of the time I enter places like this, I'm treated as if I am uneducated. Secondly, he remained transparent with every step of the way, including pricing, negotiation and finally to signing the papers. I had expressed to him how far I would be traveling and he stayed in contact with me throughout my entire dealing with him. He was never pushy, disrespectful, difficult to work with to get where I needed to be and just truly made the experience so easy. I highly recommend this location for assistance with vehicle purchasing. We got there at 8:45pm, everyone there was exhausted and staying past their shifts to help customers get things done and into their vehicles. Kareem in finance made signing everything and putting my deposit down so easy. He knew how far we travelled and we had a toddler who was overtired and even though Kareem was also tired, his attitude and conversation were so enjoyable. I did get the warranty and will be taking the vehicle to be checked thoroughly but I am not anticipating any major costs. This is a 2017 so I am aware there may be need for some mechanical fixes. Overall, I am glad I made the trip to do business here.
