“Purchased a car from here, purchase process went smooth and quickly which is why they get more than 1 star, after I had the car a week and washed it I noticed some undisclosed bumper damage that was present in photos I took when I purchased the car. They told me to go to the nearest carmax to me which bounced me back and forth a couple times and had some confusion on if they could get me a rental or not while they fixed the damages using a paint shop that is held in very low regard in the paint and body industry. After experiencing this I requested they cut me a check which they made it sound like they would then the next day when I called to ask said they wouldn’t and I would have to drop the car off and were unable to give me any type of time frame of when the work would be done just that I would be in their loaner until then. Due to this I decided to not give my car to them indefinitely. If you buy a car from them make sure you go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb.”

“I cannot say enough good things about the customer service at the Fredricksburg CarMax. In the past few months I have purchased two vehicles that turned out to have mechanical issues. CarMax took both vehicles back and gave me a full refund both times without any hassle. Just roll it into the loan, when dealing with a used car a warranty is always mandatory, Carmax makes enough money they actually care about honoring a warranty vs what it may cost them like smaller dealerships. With that being said if you ever find yourself in need of service, see 👉 Sheila in service, this woman will literally treat your car as if it were her own and get everything done as thoroughly and efficiently as possible, amazing dealing with someone who appreciates what others go through when experiencing service repair needs. Great service team in general, they were all very polite, but this lady gets it done and done properly.”

“Honestly CarMax was great, I walked in without a clue what to do other than I wanted to buy a truck. Definitely should’ve done more research but it wasn’t a problem at all. Soon as I walked in I was treated and helped by a sales rep I completely forgot her name but I know she Dj’s too! She was really cool super informative and helped me figure out how to pick a truck I wanted to test drive and try to purchase. Soon enough I was back at the dealership trying to complete the purchase that same night. I traded in my old Subaru and thanks to her help and John’s (I think that’s what the managers name was) too everything went smoothly and was ready to pick up my truck that next morning.
