“I purchased an electronic rack and pinion for a Dodge Durango from them. The first unit I received had clearly already been opened and installed before. I was assured it was fine to use, so I installed it — only to find out it already had another VIN programmed into it. Once a VIN is written into these units, it cannot be rewritten.
After almost a month, they sent a replacement. I installed the second rack, but it would not communicate or program at all. Zimmer told me to bring the vehicle to them so they could inspect it. After keeping it for two weeks, they confirmed the rack they supplied was defective as well.
They then ordered a third rack and pinion, which took another three weeks to arrive. Thankfully, the third one finally worked.
Despite supplying TWO defective parts and costing me countless hours of labor and delays, Zimmer refuses to cover any warranty labor reimbursement. This repair pays 6.4 labor hours each time the rack is replaced. On top of that, they even charged me diagnostic time just to confirm that the part THEY sold me was defective.
Very disappointing experience and extremely poor warranty support.”

“Service department was great. We had a decent amount of snow over night and my drivers side windshield wiper wasn't moving even with the windshield cleaned off. No appointment, I went in and in less than 10 minutes total was back on the road. Thank you service department.”
