“I recently purchased a Volvo here and had a mixed experience. The sales portion of the process was fine, and the salesperson I worked with was professional. Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated during the finance stage. After declining to purchase an extended warranty on the spot and explaining that I wanted time to compare pricing (a very normal and reasonable request), my husband later overheard the finance manager speaking disparagingly about me to the general manager in a public area of the dealership. What made this more disappointing was that I raised the issue with management afterward and was told I would receive a follow-up call, which never happened. For context, I did end up purchasing the exact same Volvo Platinum extended warranty from another Volvo dealer for a significantly lower price - despite being told by the finance manager here that pricing was fixed by Volvo and there was no flexibility. Customer service and professionalism matter, especially after a sale. Based on this experience and the lack of follow-through, I would not recommend working with the finance department at this location.”

“I’ve been browsing for a few months in search of a new car, and a Volvo has always been my dream. Although this location is smaller than the Carlsbad dealership, it is located in Escondido, and the customer service from start to finish was absolutely immaculate. Matt greeted us right away and made the entire experience laid-back and genuinely educational. There was zero pressure, which I truly appreciated—pushy sales tactics have caused me to walk away in the past. Matt presented several great options, and I was able to test drive two vehicles. If you’re looking for a new car, you will not regret choosing Volvo of Escondido (or asking for Matt!) 🤗”
