“My first Jeep at Powell. I have purchased Jeeps at other local Jeep Dealers. This was my first at Powell. It was a very different and awesome experience. Abigail was my sales person and was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. She made negotiations very stress free and transparent. Compared to the other dealers this was a very stress free and enjoyable experience!”

“Dog approved! Used 2023 RAM 2500 diesel.
Jonathan was very easy to work with and helpful. I would recommend him to any of my friends to buy a RAM truck from.
The process was quick and easy. No pressure.
Got a few things to take back to fix and hope that goes smoothly.”

“I bought a new Charger GT back in 2019. Ever since then I’ve had really good experience with Jack Powell dealership here in Escondido. I used them for my oil changes. Through the Mopar website and I get good discounts. I use them for tire rotations. They were also very helpful and quick with the recall that I had done on my charger And they’ve been helpful with other minor issues that have come up in the years. They are quick to repair, very communicative and I want to give a big shout to Reyes in the service department for always helping me and being professional. I could definitely see myself trading in my Charger GT for a Charger SixPack.”

“Just bought a 2019 Cherokee, that I’m super happy with my purchase. Jonathan in sales and Mike from finance were great on making the process as smooth as possible. Mike when above and beyond with my payment by making my monthly payment as low as possible. Way lower than I expected. I recommend their services to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. Keep up the great work guys!!”

“My experience with Jack Powell Dodge has been nothing short of appalling.
On Monday, Sept 22, 2025, I took delivery of a brand-new Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack. By 6:10 PM on that very first evening, the car failed to start. The dash lit up with warnings, a loud clicking came from the console, the headlights flickered, and then the entire vehicle shut down. By the following morning, it was completely dead—no power whatsoever.
From there, things only got worse. Instead of taking responsibility, my salesperson, Jonathan, sent me a link to arrange my own roadside tow. I was the one who had to schedule transport, call service departments, follow up for updates, and even chase down rental car arrangements. At every step, I was told I should make the calls, I should take the initiative—despite this being a defective car that had not even left my garage.
When I escalated, the sales manager, Mike, offered me nothing but excuses and deflection. He implied that Kearny Mesa Dodge (where I was told to take the car in the first place) wasn’t motivated to help because they didn’t sell me the car, and that the “solution” was simply to tow it back to Jack Powell. This is after I was told repeatedly that management was already aware of the situation on Monday—yet later claimed they hadn’t been informed. I confirmed with Mike that the car would be transferred from Kearny Mesa to Jack Powell. Two days later, the service manager at Kearny Mesa called to tell me that they hadn't received any call from Jack Powell and that they were still working on the vehicle!
After days of silence, vague promises, and contradictory explanations, I had to escalate the issue myself to Stellantis corporate, their warranty department, and dealership upper management to even request a real resolution (replacement or repurchase under California lemon law).
The bottom line is this: Jack Powell Dodge delivered me a dead-on-arrival vehicle, made promises and didn't follow through, and abandoned me to do all the legwork to try to fix a problem of their making. Rather than step up with urgency, transparency, or meaningful solutions, they passed the buck at every turn.
If you value accountability, professionalism, or even the most basic level of customer service, look elsewhere! Buying or leasing a vehicle is stressful enough—dealing with Jack Powell made it an absolute nightmare.”
